My monk farms undead all the time so I'm definitely looking forward to Nightfall. As long as my enchantments can't be shattered and I'm not outnumbered, I can beat any undead foe... I took on all the level 21 undead bosses in Riverside Province solo and won.

from plenty of screenshots i've seen of nightfall, it looks like the crystal desert+Fow combined for some reason. lots of the pics on here look like their from fow and even some creatures are, such as abyssals

Actually a lot of undead are fleshy creatures that are vulnerable from bleeding, disease and poison and leave exploitable corpses.

Razah isn't a ghost or any other sort of undead. He / she / it is some sort of creature native to The Mists who has assumed human (or at least humanoid) form. And it hasn't been mad clear whether Razah's primary profession can be changed at will (I hope so) or if it is merely decided once during recruitment and fixed from that point onward. Razah might just copy your own character's profession, giving you no choice in his profession.

Unless Razah is just some fansite's elaborate hoax. The article is alledgedly from NCSoft, but I couldn't find any mention of Razah on the English or German official sites.

i think undead will come out during nightfall. regular monsnters will be in the day cycle.

I'm taking this quote out of GW Wiki since I can't find my preview booklet for Nightfall:

“Palawa Joko is a lord of the undead, also known as 'the scourge of Vabbi'. He first invaded Elona from the Desolation over 200 years ago, but was single-handedly defeated by Turai Ossa at the Battle of Jahai.
Note: Palawa Joko is expected to make a return in the Nightfall campaign. “

Also the PC gamer magazine states: “Why was Palawa Joko such a scourge? Well, you just might find out-- first-hand.”

Anyways if that evil shows up I’m sure that Undead are to follow.
