Character creation glitch

I know this has been posted elsewhere because I read about it the other day and laughed, only, now the glitch is happening to me, and, ironically I can't find the thread having to do with the error.

Basically, every time I create a character, or, particularly a Monk, when it gets to the character gender selection screen, you can't see their pictures. It's just fuzzy flurries of colours.
It's not a huge deal, but it's irritating, and leaves me puzzled as to why it's happpening and, well, how to fix it.

If someone could kindly inform me of how to fix this (besides uninstalling/reinstalling), or direct me to the thread which deals with this error, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I might be wrong but, maybe updating your video card drivers (or rolling back a few) might help.

That's interesting, GuildWiki says the character creation screen bug was fixed on the 28th of July.

Have you tried it since the update on August 4th? Maybe they broke it again after the 28th and re-fixed it yesterday.
