We Need A Conclusion!!!

I have been wondering why there hasn't been any conclusion for Ascalon and the Charr.

I was thinking that they could add this conclusion like they did with Sorrows Furnace. You talk to an NPC in Ascalon who gives you the quest "the Last day is Dawning" or something like that (and i was also thinking that they could make actual missions too), and the quest leads you passed the Great Wall into Charr Territory where you face lvl 20 Charr and Charr bosses with new Green Weapons. After you first arrive into Charr territory, you realize that teh Charr Army is being run by a Ruthless Dictator, and that the actual Civilian population of Charr is really a nice and peaceful race, blindly being led by this evil dictator. So you end up traveling to the different villages, spreading the word about how their wonderful leader is really evil and misleading them.

now i know this is sounding like an expansion pack, but im thinking it just being really small, maybe 3 or 4 missions long, and the missions would be your journey from one village to the next. and then the last one being the final battle with this evil dictator.

please reply! id also LOVE suggestions/comments too!!!!!!!!!!!

Since rurik died, plants started growing in ascalon again and it became beautiful and prospered.

As for the charr, I eoe bombed them off the face of the continent.

I think Ascalon needs to be rebuilt, the city especially and maybe some of the outlying towns. Maybe that could tie into your idea.

I don't see what was wrong with the conclusion in the Glint quests, (which includes a quest called, "The Last Day Dawns")

There must be some charr left over so that the zones have something in them to fight.

I could see a later chapter/expansion taking us to an area north of ascalon, taking the fight right into Charr homelands... but they can't just re-write the prophecies campaign...

Yeah that was my point, there's already a quest by that name that sums up the Ascalon story. Basically, Adelbern is still alive, the Charr invasion is over, but the Charr still hold most of the territory north of the wall.

I wouldn't mind too much for a northern expansion, like SF, deep into Charr territory with lvl 28 Charr Lords. However there can't be a final conclusion... Ascalon is a little too small for genociding the entire race, not even the bots can kill em all

To put it simply a total new landscape, a char burnt out one similar to the new ascelon is what we want. That would require a big dev team to model the land, the new char, the greens, the "dictator" leader, new scenery, new gear, etc. It just isnt going to happen. The main focus of anet right now is to churn out yet another expansion pack for us to buy, they don't care about the storyline, they just want us to pay for another possible majorly flawed, like factions, expansion.
