Emergency Maintenance?

I got this message before logging in that there is emergency maintenance on the European data centre, and it prevents European accounts from logging in. But it logged in just fine.... so should I play? If there is a problem with the data centre, I don't want to discover that anything I do in the game is lost when the problem is fixed. Anyone else getting this?

Yeah, I've got the same message in game and I'm also able to still log in.

Would be nice to have some more detailed information.

I went ahead and played despite the msg. Everything seemed ok (but you never know... that last server crash made an ecto disappear out of my bag - but thank goodness allmighty, all the white raven staves were still there).
