Anyone else getting a lot of crashes since last night's server blowout?
The game is randomly shutting down, sometimes with no warning at all, just disappears. A couple of times I've had the 'send a report' to Anet screen, but not every time.
I've taken the side off my 'puter, checked cpu & gfx card temps, run virus scan, re-installed game... blah blah yackety schmakety..
Pretty sure that it's not my end as my other half's machine has just done the exact same thing, and that one never crashes running GW.
Crashes Galore Since Euro Servers Went Down?

No crashes here.
Do both machines have the same hardware?

Hi Numa, No my machine is (allegedly) the better one. Arf.
I'm giving up for a few days, the amount of crashes / err7s and other assorted err= problems has got a bit out of hand. Could be my gfx card, but if it is then it's probably on it's way out.
Bit of improvement this morning so we tried for Abbadon's Mouth again, and I just crashed out and left my partner playing. *sigh.

Since two machines are affected it's probably not your gfx card. If the two machines dont have similar hardware (it could've been a conflict with a driver, for instance) it's unlikely to be a systematic problem with the machines at all.
Since no one's stepped forward to complain about crashes and I've not experienced any (apart from all EU servers being down for an hour two nights ago) it's probably not a server issue.
That, basically, only leaves the connection issue. The err#7's you've got are due to bad connection, but a bad connection can not crash your game, so that's a separate issue.
The only thing which can crash the game or your computer, are the hardware and things running on your computer.
Could you describe HOW your computer/game crashes? For instance, are there any error messages, graphics glitches or any "warning signs"?
