Please help me clarify this

Could someone plz clarify how infusing ur armor works? i understand that it protects u from the mursaat's signet of agony, but wat i dont understand is how many times can it be done? i have heard that ur armor can be infused more than once so that u will take even less dmg from the mursaat, but i have tried this and the seer would not let me infuse my already infused armor. someone plz help

You can only infuse your armor once. You only do it again if you added a new piece that isnt infused.

No you don't take less damage every time you get infused. You get your whole set of armor INFUSED first time doing it. BUT, if you buy new armor you need to infuse the new pieces or you would take more damage even with 50/50 of infused and un-infused armor.

With no Infused armor at all, Spectral Agony will deal 100dmg per second with -10 health degen for a total of 600 damage. Ouch. After Infusion, it's reduced to something like 9 damage per second with -3 health degen. So, it's definitely a good thing to do, lol.

It just occured to me that the people who gave you wrong info about this may not be lieing bastards after all. As I recall, a long time ago you had to Infuse each piece seperately, but it was changed to do the whole set at once. The person you asked may have just been livin' in the past.

Yes, back when I had to walk to school uphill in the snow, you had to do 5 infusion runs to gain full protection from the Mursaat.

Also note that Sp. Agony is reduced PER peice of Infused armor you have on.

Thats probably where the "more than once" came from.

If you only have 1 peice of your 5 peices of armor infused, you will still take a large percentage of that dmg per seocnd, and the more peices you have on that are infused the less and less dmg you take from it - to the final 9 per second.

This used to matter alot more when infusion only worked on 1 peice of armor per run - but now the Seer will do your whole set of Armor at the same time.
