Weapons and armors in nightfall

I was just wondering, will the weapons and armors in Nightfall be more powerful than the current ones, or on the same level but just different?

they will be the same statwise.

if they increase the Nightfall armor stats like they did in Factions they will increase the old armor stats to match

They'll probably introduce a few new armors stat-wise to each class, much like in Factions.

I'd assume it would be like cantha as far as the armor is concerned. 4 new sets of 1.5k armor and 3 new sets of 15k armor for the core professions. And armor appropriate to the new professions. I can imagine one of these new sets will have a very angelic appearance to them.

I wonder how Dervish and Paragon Fissure will look. I mean Fissure hood and Fissure angelic stuff just sounds interesting. Least with the Rit Fissure they did a great job in Factions.

I rly hope they do a good job on Paragon Fissure. I am holding off on getting my 3rd set which was going to be for necro. Lets hope it has some type of larger wings on it somewhere. I kinda hope it has some sort of Darker feel to it since most of the Fissure armor does.

You holding off on Necro Fissure? Oh you mean the Fe? Cause the male Necro Fissure is still probably one of the greatest looking armors in game. I love the male Rit, male Necro, and Fe Mesmer. Good stuff. By the way I have a creeping suspicion that they will mess up one of the sets, I mean look what they did to Sins... that Fissure is horrible as ANY armor gets. It's worse even than War Fissure.

Haha, or simply the Grim Reaper. I wonder how they will implement the obsidians into a hooded thing. Which reminds me... how on earth will they incorporate black obsidians into a white angelic armor w/o risking the armor to look like a Dalmatian?

I only hope that armor crafting in Elona works in much the same manner as it does in Cantha. Ei. multiple crafters with their own "style" but all the same functions.

Not sure what u mean on Fe????? Yes i also think that male necro Fissure is great but when nightfall hits ectos will drop again. The only reason i made a male mezmer was because of the Fissure armor. If the paragon Fissure isnt good then ill just get necro. By the time nightfall hits i will probably have enough for both sets w/o hitting rock bottom. Im not a big rit fan but there Fissure is just great. IMO your right about the sin and war FOW

fe=female. I'm not too crazy about the female necro fis. I just wish that they would add an option at the armor crafter to change armor TYPEs. In fact, I'm gonna make a thread with that suggestion. I mean, Fissure costs sooo much, would be nice to be able to switch around when they introduce new attractive types of armor. Same ascended armor. Heck, even the 1.5K got a little pricy with Factions.
