Most Embarrassing Moment You Ever Had In Guild Wars

A guildie dropped a collectors bow with a few eapon mods on it onto the ground to show someone else and I didn't notice and preceeded to zone.

Ahhh..I have so many, but two stick out prominently. The first of course, would be doing Bloodstone Fen with my very first character, a ranger, and constantly dying repeatedly. It was only then, (and thank God for the person who told me) was I informed that I shouldn't be playing in high end areas in pre-searing armor. It was no wonder I hated the game so much up till that point...I thought it was *SOOO* hard, as I died so frequently. That's what I get for assuming I can jump into any game without reading anything or just checking around.

The second would be my first trip to UW with a small guild group. Our 55, in the midst of a heated battle, seemed to be in trouble, and I was nice enough to cast Vital Blessing on him. That went over quite well.

putting 9 into smiting instead of protection while 55ing?

doesnt really count much... lets see if i can find a better one...

OH I KNOW...

Making an IW build and forgetting to equip a +5/20% ench sword and bringing a wand instead.

Two days after Sorrow's Furnace was released, I got a Rago's Flame Staff as a drop. Now I was REALLY poor then, and though 10k was a ridiculously high amount of money. Ah, the old days :P.

Anyway, I get back into War Camp and find some guy buying all greens for 8k apiece. And I'm like "OMG yay lots of money!" so I sell it to him. One week later I bragged to a guildie about it and guess what? He informs me that it's worth 100k+. I go into War Camp and find out he's right.

I was so embarrassed and angry at myself I cried. Then I didn't play GW for a week.

Well, I once took a 3-man Spider farming group into UW instead of FoW. That was fun.

Another time I was helping my Allies beat Unwaking Waters so I took my Warrior in on the Kurzick side while they played from the Luxon one. However, we didn't synch properly and so my group ended up playing with Luxon henchmen. So, I tried desperately to agrobomb and kill my party in order to start over. Didn't work. I must have died 25 or 30 times and was running around with 1 hp but I still beat the mission (and had to repeat it of course). It was actually kind of sad that I failed at failing. My buds gave me some flak for it :-/

Once my boyfriend wanted me to help him in Elona Reach. I had just been farming on my 55, so I switched over to heal... only to find that I had forgotten to put a rez of any kind in my skill bar. Everyone died and was waiting for me to rez, and meanwhile I was on the phone with my boyfriend: "Aww crap I don't have a rez!! What do I do?!" I ended up leaving and blaming it on lag. I felt so bad.

Okay .. I have two worst moments in my life.

First time in HA, and went with this group, promised I wasn't a noob. Oh my Anyways, everyone had used their res sigs besides me, and I turned around hit CTRL and the Res Sig to have "I am using a signet of Capture on so and so."... so anyways they're all dead and Im the only one running around" .. I was so embarrased that I logged out and refused to go back to Guild wars for a week, hoping they'd forget about the noob they took. let's say now I double check I have my res with me in HA.

Second ...

55 monking then decide I'd help a friend with hells Precipice, change my skills and all that, jump in the mission and I get hit once and boom I'm dead. And they're like aren't you infused, and I checked, I was infused. Just my normal armor was still in storage and I was now a very dead 55 monk.

Now I keep all armor on my characters and not in storage ..

That stood out for me as funniest

My worst 1 was when i was doing TA with some friends, and some guy on the opposing team said "Press Alt+F4" for high scores. and this was back in the day way back when i just started GW and i was nervous and i felt pressure playing pvp. So the noob that i am pressed alt+f4. i realized what i did 2 seconds later and i logged back in, my excuse to friends? "my little brother pressed the restart button".

it was so embarrasing. needless to say, i learned my lesson

There should be a message, rather than "the trading session was cancelled" -_-

lol I used vital blessing on a 55 thinking it would help too and i tried to rez him with restore life and wondering why he kept dyeing untill i found out how 55s work

Bought somone elses armor...

deleted my necro with 15k armor on it. how do i explain that ill never MM or BiP agian?

Just thought of the worst one .. deleted a level 1 character that had my kunnaveng on it ..

my very first char (e/n) 2 weeks after GW came out i had played several of the first missions without any kind of help at all... not because i knew what i was doing, but because i didn't know abouit parties (didn't pay attention in pre-searing and i had party info turned off) and had no idea parties even exsisted. SOOOO i was in the mountains finally and found out through a friend you can have people in a party with you (he laughed). So i start asking people to go on mission with me and a bunch of people say, just grab henchies. It took them like, 5 minutes to explain to me what henchies were, where to get them, and what they do. That was embarrising. go ahead, you can laugh now. For those of you wondering, yes i did play on beta, i'm just not very observant.

One time in the random arenas, i was running a water trident build. The other side had a boon prot and we were losing. I was noob back then, and hardly knew anything about other class's skill. The monk uses spiteful spirit on me (inspired hex, i guess it was out of boredom), which did like 6 dmg, because we had a necro on our team that was using SS. I thought enemy necro was a noob and forgot attributes. They did the common ranting of "gg noobs" after they won. Within the seconds to get teleported back, I said "Hah, you had a 6 dmg SS". After teleporting back, the monk replies with "I used inspired hex noob." I checked the priest to see it. I was humliated.

I hit on a guy :/

I was going into Hero's Ascent with my guild for one of the first times. I was running a W/E at the time with a KD/AS build (this was a long time ago) and we went up against a Korean team. I clicked on one of the them and hit space and was typing something to my teammates when I realized that I was running over there. They told me to stop but my cursor was stuck in the text box and I typing sssssssssssss to no effect continuing to run for the enemy team full speed ahead. I got close to them, they were all mesmers and I was dead in one second.

I leaded a full party in a PvE mission in a certain death. Some of them tryed to stop me, but I somehow conviced them that my way is the right one...thus we all ended dead.

I thought ranger spike was, that everyone takes spike trap. So I went to ranger spike with Spike trap. They didnt even have TS/Vent :S
