I've got another question. How to make enough money for fow armor fast / how to farm enough ectos and shards with a Dervish? btw you can say what else is farmable with the 130 hp beside n00bs like Jerneh Nightbringer.

And i got another set a short while ago and most of the materials and gold came from underworld /fissure.
Just goes to show that even after all this time, underworld and fissure of woe are still valid places to farm/solo/pug...

Cathedral of flame runs. You get end chest drops, as well as what 12k from paying customers. More like 13.5k every run just from the quest reward and customers. Then you can add in chest drops, items along the way and treasure chests.
Either that or power trade if you got 100k and some ectos.

I ran 'A time for heros' mission. In the first couple days after GWEN was released. Took about 17 hours to net 750k.

Im getting my armor by doing the "PvE" weekend events like clovers, ale, bunnys, eggs, Gailes rockets, poppers, and sparks by raptor farming you make atleast 150k if you farm them both weekends for about 3hours each day. I made about 700k from those weekends, sadly i missed the clovers and ales. But when im not doing that im doing Elite Missions with my guild like Slaver+Duncan, Thommis and Rand, UW, FoW, and DoA.

DoA when it was new. Made 800k in 13 hours farming tormented gems.
This was BEFORE lootscaling too
And as Magic Stick said, event weekends usually gives me 900-1000k per weekend, which nowaways is enough for a FoW armor.

On topic: Never really been interested in FoW, besides necro top and assassin gloves and boots. When I got my ranger gloves, and boots, and then my paragon gloves and boots, the money was already there. I also made around 500 k from HFFF when Urgoz scrolls were selling for around 1.5 k each to the scroll trader. That was FTW!

DoA Full Runs got me Money to buy ectos and Shards to get my FoW. Still working on for last 2 pieces. But got me money to get Boots, Waist, Chest Piece.

At the moment I dont have fow, but i have 90 ecto, 90 shards, 500K cash and chaos gloves. I think i made most money just farming random things like: Zelnelun Fastfoot (b4 lootscale), did some fow solo as necro, did the Halycon job farm as necro and sold the rares unid (still works wonder imo), farmed ectos with my war, made bout 100k by running 5 people through THK with the bundletanking, farmed Darkflame dryders (easy kills reassonable loot), did ids farms. And lately I made bout 200k trading braces and another 50k or so from farming raptors for 2 hours on event weekend. I think this is a pretty neat thread since we all can get ideas about how to make the money for a FoW armor. Cheers,

I bought my fow armor this week by my OLD TROLL FARM profits left over golds.(Like 100k or so) I joined the game nealy a year later so I never farmed UW All the rest was mad by raptor farm. I feel myself so fool. I wasted so long time for my fow now IM a poor person only 50k in storage. I wished I didnt bought and had many cons for making everyone lovve me by supplying the hm fow runs

i switched from farming the scar eater and the elite monk tome to farming the woespreader and elite necro tome but those greens are almost free in price now.... i farmed them for 2 whole weeks and got about 1 million, this was back in around... last april/may. and i also somehow got a drop from a mob around the scareater that i sold for 90k(+5 Q9 gothic sword)

Bought my FoW ranger armor in october/november 2005, when ectos was around 13k.
I farmed uw a lot with small trapper teams (4 people max) and fow spider cave with my war.
And before the AoE nerf I used to farm desert griffons outside Augury, trolls outside Droknar and minotaurs in Elona Reach.
Killing 20/25 griffons in 1 minute with balthazar's aura was total pwnsauce.

I got my first FoW from farming Titan gems when it still seemed worth it. I got my second FoW set the weekend HM came out and i got a r9 and r10 colossal scimitar farming corsairs outside of the astralarium.
i've decided to go for a 3rd FoW set..but theres not a great way to make money anymore besides weekend festivals. i made ~400k during the last festival, and i know some made A LOT more. i think if you want a quick and easy way to get FoW..just wait till the next festival and farm nonstop. it'll be boring..but it'll probably be the fastest way to do it.
