Im wondering when
Gorebrex
ANet will crown Barradin King of Ascalon. Rurik, the heir to Adelbern's throne, is dead, and with Adelbern being(according to the manual) 61 years old, its not too likely a woman of child bearing years will have his children, and he'd have about 20 years of life left anyway(using real world average lifespan). The former ruling family's heir(the true royal bloodline) is Barradin, so when Adelbern dies, I cant imagine him not being crowned king, as he is somewhat younger than Adelbern(judging by the lack of visible grey in his beard), meaning he would probably be able to produce an heir.
Sasuke The Betrayer
Well the game, Guild Wars, does not really update a story line. If it did, I could imagine something like this happening. I also would like to see an action taken to finally get rid of the charrs, or Ascalon City rebuidling itself. I doubt ANET would make any sort of update though. Thats a good idea though, Gorebrex
Hidden in the Mist
Anet had said they won't be adding anymore major updates to Tyria.

Missed that, kinda sad to think Ascalon will always be the same drab, dark, dreary place. Maybe in a new chapter it'll be different, but you wouldnt be able to merge the account with Prophecies, due to the differences in Ascalon's appearance.

Have you seen Duke Barradin lately? He's just as old if not older than Adelbern and he's kinda scrawny looking in comparison.

Maybe we should both be looking for video card errors? Also, Im pretty sure Barradin is a bit younger than Adelbern.

meh, he's the king he can get any woman in the kingdom.
Numa Pompilius
Gwen. I betcha Gwen is of the royal line.
Anyway, sure ANet wont do any major changes to Prophecies. There's actually nothing preventing them from setting a new campaign in the same area in another _time_ though.

And yeah, Id like to know whats going to happen in the future, Id hate to think Ascalonians will just leave the place as-is.

It doesnt seem feasible. If the humans killed off the charr, who would be the bad guys? a bunch of scorpions and lvl 3 renegades? It is much more fun being able to go out and explore an area that is dominated by powerful adversaries, as opposed to just running around beating everyone elses a*#.
lapsus
The really nasty charr from their homelands would still be hanging around, and pretty mad id think.

Theres still the Stone Summit to Deal with, which would probably loosen theyre "No Non-Dwarves" policy to ally with the remaining Mursaat(seeking revenge against the players), maybe those Grawl are up to something, learning new tricks, how to become more powerfull(possibly breeding(magically?)with the Charr. What about Kryta? Is whats her name on the throne that easy? We could help restablish the Krytan Lionguard, and the proper royal line in Kryta. Much to consider, there is!
