Robots In Underworld 2 Man?

I sometimes have a bad habit of talking with my autorun still on, paying too little mind to the little red dots scurrying back and forth around the compass.

Its easy enough as a SS to just ask "Do you need me to bring BR?". IF they don't respond to this or just head right in, I know I'm most likely dealing with a non-english speaking farmer. I'm more then happy to take the free trip to UW and kill off aataxes and darknesses. At the start, if I see them running the smiter spells (Zealots being the obvious one), then I get ready for them to try and lose me once we've cleared the lower chamber. If they try to run through the 4 aataxes and couple graspsins (past the doors to the left en route to smites), its easy enough to switch out my armor and run behind them. No need for any special spells or skills, the monk has the initial aggro and once he sees you won't be peeled off, most times they just stop and tank. Course smite farming with them is a pain since they turn on SoJ and Zealots which means smites scatter and your SS is less then effective.
Stick it out, I've managed to get some ectos out of it and as a previous poster stated, its easy to kill a 55 surrounded by smites if you let them smite your hexes.
I'll go with any 55 into UW, but that's cause I'm willing to lose time on a less then optimal run AND I know to expect the good and the bad.
I always wonder tho, do any of the 55s out there have to "deal" with non-english SSs? and if not, why are there so few (or none) of them?

Why in the world would you Kill off the monk at the smiters? If you've gotten that far you might aswell hang on and see if they drop some ectos for you , just watch out he dont aggro coldfires on you. (Had one who got himself killed on like 10 coldfires cus he tryed to get me killed xD)
Also, as a 55 monk then its very possible to talk.. Its not becouse its hard to say witch way you are gonna aggro before you do it.. Its only while tanking bigger groups you need to focus on tanking, not talking.. Other than that you can talk just as much as the necro..

I don't PUG for 55/SS runs anymore ( I don't PUG for ANYTHING anymore, but thats a whole different topic) But when I did and if I did again - I leave the SECOND I see Zealots or SoJ go up on them - Like the guy said, they usually pay anyway..so no loss to me.
The Asian Farmers (not bots, just farmers, might as well be bots though, they are the same underaged kids working for 2 pennies a day probably) are such a problem there. Most SS's now advertise "SS LF English speaking non-Smiting 55, 50-50 split. PM me"

I don't have a 55 yet, but when i'm tanking and i'm attacking it always annoys me when people say, "Hey what kind of axe is that?" It even got so bad that once right in the middle of a mission where i was in the heat of battle some ranger came up and wanted to see my axe in a trade. Then acted all pissed when i didn't show it to him. 55s are just very busy. Not time for talking when there is killing to be done.

I'm not going to say they are or aren't bots, but I will tell you this: There are some EXTREMELY advanced methods being used to write some bots. The bots written in this way are very difficult, if not impossible for ArenaNet to detect.
The more cleverly coded bots can even interact with other players: trade, chat, etc..
I saw one case where a guy went into the UW with a necro. To every question he asked the necro, the necro replied "NO" - so when the necro didn't pay up his 50%, the monk left. Upon leaving, the necro said something like "Haha now you cant have a chance to get ectos" - this necro was a bot. I've seen this bot around, and thankfully it's very uncommon as the creator didn't want it to become widely available.
The text used is something a user can define in the bots code, they can program it to say "You're an asshole" when somebody leaves in the middle of a run, if they want.
Anywho, just a little info. Some of them could very well be bots, while others may just be non-english speaking/rude/stupid people..

I made my statement based on the fact that the bots in elona cannot run up to the merchant to sell their stuff and have to use the wall trick so I cannot see how the same bot owners can make programs to wand random spawns. I knew a person who made a bot program and it seemed to be programmed through key strokes i.e. move forward so much then change direction then use this skill etc. Maybe there is some uber program/method of doing it but it would be nice for you to state how it does it

Most of those people run AutoIt3 (au3) bots, and most of those are stupid enough to be plainly obvious to any joe just looking (like the bot you described, thats almost certainly au3). But, theres alot of people running bots which require memory hooking, using Requia or something like it... and any scripter worth a damn can use Requia to make a bot that isnt immediately destinguishable from *real people*.
Now, its important to note with this that ANet has not taken the necessary steps to prevent memory hooking programs, like WoW and most other MMO's have. This allows people to run advanced bots with ease, and is the basis for my opinion that ANet doesnt truly want to stop botting.
Anyways, like I said, learn something about programming before you say 'it cant be done'. Im certain in half an hour of learning lua I would know enough to write your 'impossible bot'
