Please post your computer model no. S3 graphics cards are usually built-in to the motherboard and do not tell us which slots are available on your system.
The harder ways to see if you have an agp slot is to crack open the case, but you can also check the system bios for a reference to agp and it's speeds.
An easier way though is use the system information tool (under accessories>system tools in the start menu). To check which slots are on your machine they may be listed in the first panel, or you will see a reference to them as well in hardware resources (sharing, i/o sub items). Lastly, you can right-click "My Computer" and get properties in the drop-down menu. Goto the hardware tab at the top, click device manager then the + arrow next to system devices, which will show a list of device controllers, typically you will see PCI and AGP or PCI-e controlers listed there as well. Best bet is to tell us which machine you have *model no*/manufacturer so we can look up what slot and speed you have on board!

That computer there has 3 PCI slots and one PCI Express slot. If you're not sure that that computer is yours though, I'd suggest going to http://www.hp.com/ and typing in your computer's model number in the search category and locating the specifications there. (You can find your model number right below the power button on your CPU itself.)

does that help??

Okay then, yes, that graphics card should be compatible with your computer since you have an AGP slot available.

V1.5 means 1.5 volts, not version. Since it's a universal card, it'll fit your AGP slot, but you're getting seriously ripped off paying $100 for such a crappy card.

Best Buy horribly overprices things and is an embarassment for tech consumers. I'd buy CDs from them, but NEVER hardware.
For around $100, you can get something at least twice as fast as that 6200. The last greatest AGP card under $150 is the Geforce 6600 series, with the 6600 GT being the best price/performance card @$130. The 6200 you picked should really be priced somewhere around $70.

online stores or computer specialty shops should give ya a better price than most retailers like Walmart bestbuy circuit city etc...
