outcast god.

Such thing wont occur for much later in the chapters (Basically when they end Guildwars and begin Guildwars 2)
Or, it wont happen unill much later in thechapters but will only be a one-time occurance. In anycase people would feel disapointed with the chapter that follows it, I wouldn't, but I know others would.
But, think of it this way - If Grenth the Necromancer tooken down Dhuum the God, what is it, was it, that made Grenth the Necromancer powerful enough to take down a god? Meere mortals can not kill/banish a god (of any level, demi deity or one of the big five) with out having assitance in some way, some how.
It's my belife that we will eventually get to aid the gods v. something else war that we can finally see ("Little do they know their playing a part already...") and openly participate in. Tho personally I hope such thing will be much later in chapters and that we can how ever get a taste of this (IE: "Neriandal Freit, I need you to aid me" said Dwayna) and thats it for a couple oef chapters while we "build the blocks".

And if the situation is based on real life myths, then Grenth being the son of Dhuum would actually make sense.

if dhuum has been doing all these crazy things, stirrin stuff up in the underworld, the choas corupting places and people, bringing out grasps, and probably a thing or two i havent mentioned, would it not be possible for him to be the cause of the charr comin down south to ascalon? perhaps bringing the same threats we have seen to them, who being charr, couldnt handle them and fled?

He was NEVER a god, however there is some rumors flying around that Dhuum corrupted him in some way.
At the END of the story in Factions, the Envoys sent his soul to a special place in the Underworld since he no longer had any power.

I think it was the Lich that made the Charr attack Ascalon, there were burning titan statues to the North.

Its so obivious... Shiro will be release from where ever by Gwen. But Gwen is not really Gwen. Gwen in actually Glint. Gwen-Glint. Sounds similar. Shiro and Gwen-Glint will bring Dhuum-Dhumm back into existance by sacrificing themselves to UW. All of this will be revealed by the now unemployed Infusioner who has been jobless since Factions came out. The Infusioner, who still has not made it back to the Protoss homeworld of Aiur, will begin us in the Nightfall campaign.
BTW that advertisement said GW was a "roleplaying game"?

Well, i kinda posted my speculation in another thread
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10011848
But here it is again. And a bit more
I think the Outcast God is Menzies. Dhuum is dead, Menzies seems to have been banished.
Menzies probably investigated the energies (Chaos storms) at Dhuums broken tower, in his pursuit of seeking something helpfull to defeat his Brother. He found something. Some of the remnant energies of Dhuum or something that allows him to masquerade as Dhuum. This something whatever it was has has made Menzies able to command & lead Dhuums remnant followers.
This significally strengthened the Menzies shadow army, and made it strong enough to go on offensive. At least Menzies think so.
Then Menzies just waited for something big & distracting / a disaster of some kind (*cough* Fall of Ascalon) to weaken the Gods. Perhaps Menzies orchestrated it, but its also likely that he just exploited the situation. Using that Disaster as a Distraction, Menzies launched his campaign erupting Chaos everywhere. Turning rather docile monsters all over the world into vicous & aggresive ones, perhaps using some help from a vengefull Envoy Shiro.

OK personal theory!
There will be a chapter for each of the gods although you don't know they are tied to a particular god as such! Then the final chapter is the making of the new gods i.e you truly ascend!
I think Nightfall will link more with the story of prophecies since it is that team working on it! Then "Dawnbreak" (I'll let you have that as next title idea anet! LOL) or whatever, ties the story of cantha up more with the others. Each chapter will have a thread through it all and the true story will become clearer.
I think it would be Dhuum in this one but I also think he is the puppet of someone else! Multiple stories, have multiple possabilities and plenty of room for surprises.
The other side to think on is the idea of balance, there will always be good v evil. There as always been chaos of some kind in GW so why would the god of chaos not be there, it does not fit in with the logic. I'm also thinking about the Paragon in this and them being "angel like" I did also think o fthe dervishes more like the grim reaper, providing the bodies for a powerfull necro master?
Hey you never know but they may even be a link to Diablo in this! The devil being an outcast and all that. LOL
I think all the end characters from the main chapters will reappear in a final battle!
I probably have a few more theories running round my head but I won't bore you all with those!
