Silent Nerfs?

With the most recent weekends being double drop this and double drop that

And thi weekend is going to be MORE doubel drops but this time from chests, do you guys think it's just Anet's way of silently nerfing certain things, in last case it was the deep/urgoz this weekend its chests in cantha?

Sounds like a money sink AND a a giant nerf to rare skined wepons prices sounds like fun ehh?

well i just cant wait even tho it will dorp the price on most rares not by much but some, the double chance of gold will still be great for my titles, so guess what, i'm not really complaining i just saw the whole double chance of rares thing to be a silent nerf in my eyes :P how about you guys?

Maybe it's fun for poor folks to have nifty looking gear too? Maybe it's not all about you making 100k+ on one item while the majority of players run around with collectors weapons?

Increasing more peoples' enjoyment of the game, or nerfing the power traders...

I doubt it. Most people think celestials are pretty ugly skins and you get much better rares from later chests.

Pushing people to buy Factions, note it doesn't say Tyrians get this nice little weekend.

It allows more players to have skinned weapons. I think it's great. I personally stick to collectors weapons since I don't shudder at customizing them though.

IMO Celestials are ugly. They only are good for selling to people...

To tell the truth iw ent through the whole collector time, i still have a vampiric katana of defense from kaineng, i saw it and HAD to have it, people were like omfg you god you have a 15^50 katana at the beggining, i felt good, lol but now i have a fellblade i customized that i got off of the auctions for a steal, lol i suggest you check them out :P


as for the celestial thing, THATS THE TRUTH, i mean seriously when the hammer is a giant turkey baster dyed purple, you know they suck

all i know is this one is a 2 sided blade, more rares, more chests, more titles for me, but less profit, has more positives than negatives, lol

hey, some collectors items got really nice-looking skins 2.... looks ta some necro's items f/ex, or nice mesmer's staff, or cleaver...

bah i'm glad things like this happen. I don't care much for farming constantly just to get an item i like because its obscenly expensive.
