Could somebody please help me?

Today I was changing the amount of Gamma from the graphics option, and when I firse did it the screen went very very bright. I decided I didn`t like it, so I tried to turn it down, but then my computer froze! So I restarted my comp and tried again, only to see it still freeze up!! I tried turning down the graphics settings like texture, reflection and speed, but it still freezes up!

I don`t want to play on a screen that hurts my eyes!

Do u guys know anything that could help?

try using the auto-detect button...
