So far the ingame store only sells the games, and extra extra character slots.
What would be a great idea for the store would be the option to buy things like ingame bonuses that you would regularly pay for (buying CE editions) like:
Glowing Hands Emotes
Mini Pets
Special Dances (/dancenew) maybe more professions new dances
This way people who spent $50 for regular Guild Wars Factions and didnt get bonuses, could spend the extra money later and get the CE edition things like the dances.

I agree, they should sell CE upgrades in the store, that way people who want to enjoy CE content can get this without buying a totaly new copy which cannot be merged.

I'd like to buy Trial codes (cheap, please) so that I can introduce friends to the game.
For instance, I have a bunch of friends who bought Prophecies and quit before a lot of the good changes went in. I bet they'd love the Alliance Battles and PvP-like missions of Factions, but I wouldn't ask them to spend $50 to try it.
