Jeez, why must people player-hate all the time.
The WM guy was nice enough to play with a PUG group. No, he shouldn’t get a cookie for that but he should be insulted for it either.
The OP posted that a guy from WM pugged with him. Again, why must people find fault with that. If the OP thought it was a cool/nice thing for the OP, then it is.
Who gives a damn whether the WM guy is one out of a 100 WM players. He is in WM and he obviously knew what he was doing (per the OP).
And what is this I keep reading about “oh, well he probably had no choice because no one in his guild does HOH.”
People can’t seriously think that if people in HOH saw the following:
1) Rank 3 unknown person LFG for ____________
2) Person X (from WM but not blatantly showing his tag) LFG for_________ that most non “leet” groups wouldn’t pick the guy up. (Note my use of the phrase “non-leet” group because a good many HOH groups are high rank/reputation only groups. Meaning you have to be high ranked and have to be “known” on their friends list).
Now who do you think is gonna get picked? Rank 3 IWAY or WM, Evil, ZPZP, Te, IQ, etc?
I am not in a high ranked guild. But just because my guild isn’t that high ranked means that I have to go around bashing high ranked guilds to make myself feel better.
In some people’s eyes, that WM guy is evidently damned if he does/damned if he doesn’t.
Another thing, as to just being a member of the guild.
You know what, if you are the bench warmer on Michael Jordan’ team and Michael Jordan goes out demolishes your team, you are fully within your rights to say “yeah, my team is better than yours.” That is the reality of life and goes for pretty much every sport.
No one says “oh, well yeah, they just have Joe Montana on their team, that’s why they won.” No, they won. Plain and simple.
(So if WM wins, they win and every member even if he/she bought his way in is entitled to tell you “WE” beat you.). That’s right, “WE.”
