Kurzick Juggernauts.
Lordhelmos
They sacrifice live humans and transform them into those giant green bean terrors... creepy.
Maybe I should go Luxon now....
Maybe I should go Luxon now....

You could always join Shiro and be sacrificed to become a whirling armor terror.
Or the Jade, and be a floating armor terror.
Or the snake people of the crystal desert, and become a walking armor terror.
Actually it's a bit weird that luxons don't have any soul-bound animated constructs... but wait, how do the luxons huge legged robot ships really work?

Ooh OOH! I know, I know!
It's by soul-binding right live humans. Right?!

To my knowledge they aren't sacrificed. I think they are bound into a new immortal form. If you still think that they are being sacrificed.... The luxosn grow turtles to unatural sizes.... Not a tree hugger yet that is somehwat unatural
Thats just my view on it.

IMO- Kurzick Juggernauts are not sacrifices.
Well, surely they are. But not ruthless slaughter. These people volunteer to have their souls be reborn into a new form blessed by their Gods/Saints.
Oh well, Luxons do it with they're walking ship things of death I bet... unless of course they were dwarf made. (I see no dwarves in the Jade Sea do you?)

You could consider it having your soul assimilated into the life of the tree, and being reborn into a sapling -> which is shaped into a Juggernaut form.

so you go from sapling-> juggernaut -> LARGE TREE?
OH

time to stop sending danika love letters and time to start sending her letters to be a JUGGERNAUT... bitch >.<
Avarre
In theory, yes, though the growth cycle is incredibly rapid - Eternal grove mission doesn't take long for the Juggernaut form to rise.

Still, Juggernauts suck against Siege turtles. I mean, what the point of even having one in Aspenwood? They don't do sh!t.
Avarre
Juggernauts are the best defensive weapon the Kurzicks have against siege turtles. The problem is the one in Aspenwood is simply stupid.
You're welcome to ignore them in Gyala though, and see what happens to your siegeturtles The Kurzicks (in theory) use them to tank and move up, knock out the artillery and then move up infantry.

But really, WTF. I see some Luxon lovers in here.
Ultimately, isn't it irrational that these guys senselessly kill each other?

It not only is an honor or redemption (as is the case for that ex-redemptor that volunteers to become a Jugernaught), but then you have the Melendru given right at the beginning of every battle to say, "I'm The Jugernaught BITCH". Not bad at all, and def not creepy.
P.S. Go Lux!

But yeah, I'm sure it's more that they get a new body than being sacrificed to become a warrior. They choose it, after all, it's an honor.
And turtles have cannons.
Juggernauts have.... leaves

Juggernauts are not sacrifices, in the outpost outside of HzH, the gatekeeper is a juggernaut. He is still himself, he says "I have sacrificed my own flesh to become a immortal protector of the forest". They volunteer, to become IMMORTAL, and to become human-like trees. Good trade ^^, but no human pleasures . So they are still themselves.
And on the siege turtles vs juggernaut thing. Juggernauts own siege turtles because since the fire rate of turtles is slow, they keep moving going in front of the turtle, knocking them down countless times not giving it chance to fire.
But I'm luxon :P

I'm a Luxon lover (LUXONS FTW!)
Well Boreas seabed is kind of stupid, like what Opeth 11 just said you fight 3 luxon clans in galadiator style combat to fight a giant 3000 hp squid. But again factions is on the weird side.

"The Juggernauts are Kurzicks who have sacrificed their humanity in order to become powerful defenders of the Echovald Forest and the Kurzick people. They have been transformed into large plant creatures by the Awakening ceremony performed by the Tree Singers in the Eternal Grove, using the Forever Trees, Amber and Jade. As long as its Forever Tree lives, a Juggernaut is effectively immortal, as the destruction of a Juggernaut's body causes it to be reborn from its tree. This makes them fearless in battle. Becoming a Juggernaut is seen as the ultimate sacrifice and those who become Juggernauts are revered as saints."
