Anet will have no sympathy for you... Best you could hope for would be an email telling you it's your own fault and there's nothing that can be done.

There is no recourse I think. Your hard earned dough cannot be taken back. Moreover, I think it's probably against the EULA to purchase accounts/keys (Which are always scams; either you get the account and they use support to get it all back, or they only give you a bogus key and help themselves to your dough) The fact that you were dealing in a shady kind of deal isn't going to help you much either in dealing with a support query.
My advice is to learn from this mistake, go farm yourself some more platinum and buy a real Copy of the game from NCsoft and Arenanet.

one on european server, one on american server . . . make sure each one has basic uw and fow farming builds . . . thats my basic idea and use for 2 accounts, would be pretty nice to go to fow or uw whenever you want, and if you have someone you can trust *i mean someone really trusworthy* you can have them transport gold from one to the other, or have 2 computer networked and just login into gw on each account on each computer and transfer gold in international districts so the euro and amer accounts can meet. but all else thats only reason i could think of to buy 2 accounts

If you have been scammed please do the following:
To report someone go to Guild Wars official website and click on the Support link. You will be taken to this page:
http://www.guildwars.com/support/
Click on your zone, register and follow the instructions.
Remember to take a screenie to prove the scam. Always take a couple of screenies when trading/asking for services.
No point in complaining or commenting about it here because no one here can help you.
End of story.

Well if i was you i wouldent report it to A-net.. Hell, they might even grap you for trying to buy an Acc in game .. .. And there is no where in the world they will ever restore your gold.. Now go earn new gold if you need some, in a good way... Dont scam some1 cus you was stupid enough to fall for a scam..
