Do warrior monsters wear absorption runes?

Background info: I'm equipping my PVE 'sin, and I've already picked up the standard-for-damage Vampiric dagger mod. I intend to nab the Ceremonial Daggers at the end of the game (Zealous) to fuel any energy-hungry chains I might run into, but I'd like to add a third set with a "no-drawbacks" Tang to swap to when I'm not fighting.

...So it occurred to me, would an elemental tang actually provide a benefit against Warrior-class monsters in PVE post-absorption-nerf? In PVP you're pretty much guaranteed the -3 from the Superior Absorption rune and two thirds of the time there's a shield % chance as well, making an Elemental mod strictly better than a Vampiric one since it bypasses the absorption. What about PVE, would an Elemental mod be advantageous against Naga Warriors or Minotaurs?

I doubt anyone can say for sure, but they do seem like they wear high armor and have absorbtion (even when they are monsters and don't actually wear any armor).

So basically I would say you have a point using an elemental damage mod since daggers do so little base damage that only your special attacks will hurt high level monsters.
