Eredon Terrace Mapping

Can you actually get a ferrie into the exlusive area?
=HT=Ingram
no. you actually need to join the controlling alliance...
This is a critical control point since anyone going for Grandmaster cartographer needs to get in there for the last .1% of the map. There is a pathway back there that has no point other then reviling the last of the map.

You DO NOT need to get back there to get Grandmaster. It's just a little bonus if you can get it.

Thank GOD for that! I was getting a little worried there! 98.8% explored, the LAST thing I want to try to do is make the effort to "get in" with someone just to explore map! Cheers for clearing that one up!

that 0.4% area was prolly not meant to be there. u dont even clean any fog but u gain 0.4%
u can go up to 100% without ereddon and even without the starts/dragon event games area.
with arena, ereddon and starters u can go somewhere around 101-101.2% so it's not rly a problem

ha yeah I figured that just wanted to finish it the easy way...but oddly enough my last .1% was found right behind the sotrage at Shing Jea...how dumb do I feel.

On the note you don't need to have ANY of the "Alliance Only" areas in order to get 100%, this is the same for both Tyria and Cathan born characters.
Going into them does makes things a heck lot easier however

My alliance owns Eredon Terrace and as far as I know that small segment of the Eredon doesn't count towards map exploring.
Mournblade
Yeah, it does. *points up to Guin's post*
