Hey, right now I'm standing in Perdition Rock wanting to cap Quickshot from Maxine Coldstone. We saw her and so she started to patrol. So we headed back and are now waiting in one spot for her and CAN'T FIND HER! Is she going to come up eventually? And yes it is on the line where she patrols..

Maxine "shares" her spawnpoint(s) with other bosses, so you may have to go in and out a few times.
Clear out a part, or all, of her patrol path to prevent yourself from running into other groups while chasing her.

Sir Mad, I DID READ GUILD WIKI. I KNOW that Maxine shares the same spawnpoint as Harn. What I don't get is once I found her, and she started her patrol...I went to a spot where eventually she was supposed to reach. And she didn't.

I capped quickshot last night, but it took me quite a while to do it. Not including my own fooling around time it was probably three hours. It took a while to find a good pick-up group, [soapbox] People who die once or twice and quit really get on my nerves. There are like a bigillion bosses, and we will be killing one in just a few minutes so your little DP will go away, be patient! 
[/soapbox]but once we did it was fairly easy. I saw Maxine on my 4th and 5th tries, but she disappeared on the 4th (or we weren't looking in the right place, were you in my party!?! 
) but on the 5th try after she kited us a couple times we doublebacked and found her (thanks to a Monk who knew what he was doing and two Warriors that hung in there during some pretty tight moments). I stuck with that group cause the Monk wanted to cap although I was having a hard time staying awake by then!
A little trick I read while reading up online is that if you see Spirits of Favorable Winds here and there, thats Maxine's doing (my party kept killing them although I was like no, no, I can use them!!! There is no one else on the enemy side using arrows, we can use them to our advantage!!! No one listened but it was a small price to pay
) so you know she spawned this time around!!!!

That boss is irritating... just like Harn. I was annoyed on my 3rd attempt at finding her so instead i just ran to the spawn point, she finally appeared... then wandered off. So i went back to the start and soloed a load of Dark Flame Dryders and killed a few Drakes till she went round that way and killed her 
Stupid henchman, who needs em.
The boss patrols round the island, so just run to the starting spawn, restart if the wrong boss appears or just turn fight through from the other side and head her off.

That's why I always take henchies, they don't rage quit and they keep fighting, no matter how high the dp. Henchies are you friends.

The first time I went to cap Quickshot, I didn't read up enough. I went on a wild goose chase with Maxine Coldstone. She goes along this patrol route where there're many other mobs around her. While clearing the mobs, she moves onto another mob group. Had a hard time tracing her path. Eventually, I cleared all mobs around her whole patrol route with henchies before finally confronting her. =.=

What I do is take henchies, slowly clear up to her spawn point near the middle of perdition rock...
Once she gets into range, and casts Favorable Winds, she will start to move. I suggest, once this starts to happen, abandon everything, and just try to get one arrow shot at her in order to draw aggro. Once this is done, slowly clear the mobs that you have accumilated by running and shooting that arrow, and eventually you'll get to her. Easy.

Ok, what you do is rush that boss and dont' let her patrol, dont' worry about the fleshies and stuff that come to you because if you're henchwaying it, you can take them out.
Also if you get it on the first spawn, you're lucky, i had to try over 30 times to finally to get that boss to spawn. I alway got that annoying mesmer boss.
