So if it's possible for a female warrior to look like you, a male, then wouldnt it be possible to make a black character who shares some similarities to you? He could look similar to you but have darker skin.

I'm just trying to understand why it's okay to have a female character look like you but an asian or african is impossible.

They have ALWAYS offered multiple skintones from very bright to dark. Stop Crying Wolf.

I think A-Net is doing this right. Every world region has its own history, culture, and mode of warfare. They all have interesting aspects to them. By making chapters that reflect those different regions, it not only makes the game more interesting, but helps egocentric kids learn there are other peoples out there. And they may even have things to offer the world. I want Nightfall to look like Africa. Of course there will be visitors, but the native characters should look native.

As far as Persian being a language, WHAT?! They are a people, a culture. Basically, Iranians with nobility. If you've ever known a Persian, you know what I mean.

Correct me if I am wrong here. But if i remember correctly the faces and hair styles on the assasins and rits from the factions pvp event are the same as they are now, and lets be honest the choices are not that varied same with the skin tones. The choices when it comes to appearance seems to be a bit limited with factions and i think Nightfall will be the same, e.g. Female Tyrian Warrior has 16 faces, Female Canthan warrior has 7, I'm not even going to go into the available hairstyles..

I mean don't get me wrong here the models do look great, but I would like anet to make a little more effort in the direction of variety on the char models. Variety is the spice of life blah blah blah..

Like I told you, there was a thread about this weeks ago, and the whole issue was answered.

yeah this is racist. People complaining skin tones is pretty low and shows what kind of person you really are. I think the amount of racial comments I overhear in game is absolutely rediculous and pathetic. I know Im taking this a little far, as I DO understand the point of this thread is about customization (heck we could be dark skinned in GW1 - why not be light skinned in GW3?) But honestly, It really kind of set me off on some of these issues that are very common and sad in-game. When I see people flaming others, and using racial comments, I seriously wonder if the people making the comments have all of their teeth. What kind of loser white trash person would make racial slurs and derrogatory comments in a game such as guild wars...? The simple stupidity of some people make me really angry.

I think I have every skin tone type from Necro Black to Elemental White...

I think im just gonna go with whatever gives the best contrast (i.e. darkest skin to offset white paragon armor) since i love contrast.

especially since white people looking like gangster wannabes is far more common than what you are implying.
