transferrable armor

It would be nice to be able to make armor and stuff for other characters.. like character A makes armor for character B. Obviously it would only be for your characters and not someone else's. I think it would just be kind of cool to do.. I mean you can make armor and put it in your storage box to access, but it's kind of pointless if you can't use it..

We can do it with weapons and materials, so why not armor as well?

There is no requirments for armor (unlike there was in beta) so that means a person starting at lvl one (lets say a warrior) ,lvl 1 with 100 armor in arena, or just doing quests , which will mean his 100 armor will make the mobs not do any damage to him/her.

I think what i said above is a good reason for no armor buying for other characters.With weapons its different ,cause you still need to meet the req to do the damage stated.

i think it's a good idea, but with these changes.

* give armor a lvl requirement
* change the customization from character to account. Meaning you can't trade between other players, but your characters can use them back and forth between themselves.

- - this would help out when re-rolling characters. And would also be nice for the event masks.

If you can only swap armor among your own characters that have the same job. Aka Character A (War armor) works on Character B (War) but no on Character C (Monk).

Xenex, that can already happen (atleast in prophecies). It's so easy to get get ran if you have the right money.

I'm mixed about the whole "give armor lvl requirements" thing. In tyria you won't be able to have your armor before you need it, but in cantha you can get high level just on noobisland...

A ranger wearing warrior armor wouldn't look right :S.

der! that wasnt the point that was being made. of course rangers can't wear warrior armor.

So if you can only share war with war and only a lvl20 can wear lvl20 armor then what is the point of sharing the armor? What advantage are you getting from sharing?

That is an interesting proposition... and does make a bit of sense, but...

This would open up a lot of trouble for the anet team, recoding the armor, not fun.

I can sorta see the mask being account based but I think its fine the way it is. No need to give them large amounts of work for stuff that’s already in place.
