Does your country have favor? If not you're gonna have to wait till they do.
thecagekeeper
My country? ummmm United States?
Favor? what does that mean?
Can you please expand on your responce. Thanks

Basically, whether or not you can go to FoW or Underworld is dependant on how well someone you've never met is doing in PvP. If someone from your area hasn't won the Hall of Heros lately, you can't go in.

Wow, everyone is giving me a ton of info yet...I understand nothing. From my area being my guild, my actual real world area, my faction, someone who was just in Zin Ku Corridor? And beyond that, what do I do? Just keep trying? I need some instruction on how to get there not only what is keeping from there.

LOL, look at the green text that pops up when you enter Zin Ku in the chat window... It say "some country currently has favor of the gods" If you're on american servers, then an american guild/group needs to win the Hall of Heros (located in Hero's Ascent on the Battle isle, take the boat on the map). They need to win Halls 5 times to *earn* favor so that people on the american servers can go to Fissure of Woe or Underworld.
thecagekeeper
So, if you were attempting to travel there..... would it be better to hang out and watch or go and try to beat the hall 5 times myself?

In PvP, there is the Heroes' Ascent tournament. The Hall of Heroes is the last area of that tournament. in order to access the UW or the FoW, teams from your territory or server (America, Europe, Korea, Japan, Taiwan) must have won 5 consecutive wins in The Hall of Heroes. So, some dudes in Seoul can basically keep you from playing parts of the game you've purchased.

AND...how long does "favor" last?

"Favor" is the term for which region controls access to the Underworld and Fissure of Woe via the God statues in Zin Ku Corridor and Temple of the Ages. The game will tell you who has favor when you enter Zin Ku.
Guilds from these regions compete in PvP battles at the Hall of Heroes. For example: If Europe currently has the favor, teams in the American Region must beat European teams five times in a row to take favor for America.
Does that help? Unless you participate in GvG battle in Hall of Heroes, you have no control over who has favor (and thus access to Underworld and Fissure of Woe).

Basically whichever server your acct is registered to has to be controling Hall of Heroes.
There are 5 servers I believe: American, Europe, Korea, Taiwan, & Japan.

Ok this is how it works
People live in these main areas:
1) Korea
2) U.S.A
3) Europe
4) There might be one more but I don't remember...
Each of these "Areas / Countries" fight each other in PvP (Player vs Player) basicly once one TEAM in ONE "Area" such as the U.S.A wins enough times in PvP they "Gain The Favor Of The Gods".
You have NO CONTROL OVER THIS. I live in the U.S.A and use the U.S.A servers so once a team wins enough wins in PvP they get "FAVOR" for the U.S.A.
You will get a message in chat stating "U.S.A Has Favor Of The Gods" or "Europe Has Favor Of The Gods" look for these messages...
Again since I PERSONALLY live in the U.S.A and use the U.S.A Servers I have to WAIT untill U.S.A has "favor Of The Gods" once the U.S.A has favor of the Gods then I can go to Zin Ku Corridor and enter into UNDERWORLD.
This means at this moment when U.S.A has favor of the GODS no one from Europe or Korea can go into UNDERWORLD OR FOW ONLY PEOPLE IN THE U.S.A can go into UNDERWORLD OR FOW.
Once we have favor you go to Zin Ku Corridor, and you kneel before the status of GRENTH, then a ghost thing comes up and you pay it 1k EVERY TIME U WANT TO GO TO THE UNDERWORLD.

KamikazeChicken
It will say America, not U.S.A because America consists of more than one country. >.>
lightblade
America's favor time is usally from 6PM to 2 AM PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) +/- 1 hour
And very rarely it last till 4 AM

Irongate
Grenth, not Balthzar for UW
Former Ruling
America
Europe
Korea
Japan
Taiwan
These have all at one point won in the Halls. I can assume China has a favor chance, but I haven't personally seen them win it.
"Area" - again refers to the Servers you play on. Nothing else. If you play on American servers then you have to wait for an American team to win 5 times in a row in the Halls (a map in the tournament Hero's Ascent).
America hasn't been getting favor alot recently. Usually only getting it in the Later part of the evening and only keeping it for a few hours at best.
This was different several months ago. There was a time where America kept favor for about 60% of the time or more (great considering Korea actually won halls regularly at the time).

Carinae
Another way to determine favor is by looking at any statue of a God. Balthazar's statue has flames when you have favor, Grenths has cold mist coming from it, other God's statues have effects also.
If the statues have no 'effects', you don't have favor.
If the statues have no 'effects', you don't have favor.
dargon
Like Carinae said, the statues of the gods can tell you whether or not you have favor, furthermore, ANY statue of the gods in the game can tell you this at a glance. Also, you'll want to be in a party (not henchmen, they can't enter) when you kneel at the statue, and it'll cost you 1 platinum to enter. If you go in there alone without the appropriate build, you will certainly die within about the first 30 seconds or so (unless you don't move, but that's no fun
)
