Nightfall.... I find this amusing since the sun in going down on ANET and this will be the last game GW they make.
I havent been playing much lately. I log back in every once in awhile to play Touch Ranger at Aspenwood, when I work third shift I do use my cell phone to read the web boards here. When Im at home, I have a new game that occupies the spot GW once held.
While playing the "other game" last week. I met a player named Mhenlo. Jokingly I asked where Cynn was stalking nearby and why he was not in Cantha. He replied "after killing Shiro 3 times... I got bored and came here." We had a long talk about the changes from Props. to Facts. and had similar stories about the discontent among our guilds and that many people had quit playing. We discussed and had views on the same things that had gone wrong crossing over. Im not going to point those out because someone will flame and say "this is the song that never ends..." One thing I will say is that before Factions came there was never this much discontent posted on these boards.
Final summary, I would gamble that Nightfall will see a decrease in sales compared to Factions by more than 30%. I am amused by all these Double Drop Weekends. Sounds like desperate politics to get sales up or make up for the wrongful banning of other players
