My warrior is happy... it was a good enough excuse for her to get a new outfit. Although I still think it was more out of vanity than anything else.
Anyway, she can still pretty much shrug off any additional damage... MENDING FTW!

It seems like a such a small thing that I don't think I've even ever considered saving up for a superior absorbtion. I've forgotten that I don't have it.

As for the nerf, aside from apparently confusing many people, I do notice a lot more elemental damage. Taking more damage from a wand than a hammer is just wrong.

Things are still the same for me, but my Warrior's success in the Fissure of Woe solo has dropped quite a bit. That added damage against the spiders can hurt.
Other than that, there hasn't been a problem. I need to run and heal more often (Healing Signet ftw), but nothing much else.

Most warriors in PvE groups aren't that affected because they have adequate monk support/focused more on stances.
I don't run, but I would expect that many runners are having difficulties as well going through some of the tricker running spots (e.g. Beacons--->Droknars).

Hmm, just wondering, would this make an evasion Ranger tank more desirable in comparison? Rangers have high elemental armor already and can stay in 75% evasion stance 100% of the time.

I have played my warrior less and less these days. That 3 points of damage in PvE really adds up over 3 minutes of game play. Whereas I could tank through many areas in the game and not worry about damage I just can't do that anymore. Even the SIN's are using elemental damage in AB and missions such as Aspenwood. This NERF has really severely damaged the Warrior. I’m now in the process of getting rid of my 15k Glads and working on 15k Dreadnaughts.

ele = elemental, bypassing shield reduction and rune reduction = at least +3 damage

However, when fighting a warrior, elemental gets the equivalent of 20%, 10% or 0% ap if you consider the warrior to have 100AL. It's confusing.
When fighting a monk with judges, it's the equivalent of eh, dunno, but it's ap
For other classes its meh.
But when fighting a warrior, I won't use vamp, I will use elemental
When fighting somethign that has 60 AL with no bonuses, vamp is obviously better...... unless you conjure the element.

had'nt run droks in long time.. friend needed someone run in his guild- ran it without a problem- did a couple tests pve it really did'nt impact tanking much.. mainly switched to rit for farming anyway

I thought the nerf would have a somewhat big impact on warriors. Surprisingly, I dont see a hugh difference. I havent changed my playstyle as a warrior at all.

I haven't made any big changes just to all Glads and put my absorbtion rune on my chest.It would be nice if the rune was changed back though I thought Gaile said they would look into that.

Wasn't a big deal unless you solo because your monks just have to heal you a few more times in about...10 minutes or so.

My warrior used to be able to tank 35 Aatxes at once but now he explodes as soon as I exit Serenity Temple. Curse you ANet! I used to carry a Flute as an offhand but now I have to carry one of those +5 energy Runic Shields for the extra armor!

change? nope havent felt the sting.....and as for fighting other warrios thats not really a problem as i usually have back up most of the time

Spent around 800k replacing 4 pieces of fow armor to knights, and another 500k or so on elemental shields of every kind, and another 50k or so on a GPB of warding . But ya, not much game play difference except major gold sinkage (which I am sure ANET loves) .
