BUT - there actually is a henchman, sortof, in pre-searing. Talk to the little girl Gwen just outside the gate of Ascalon. She's a (legendarily poor) healer henchman, and will follow you around and occasionally cast heals on you. |

If you're planning on completing all/most of the pre-searing quests then you will be some time away from getting to party with henchmen. You will get to Post-Searing after you have gotten your second profession and have completed 'A Second Profession' quest, which will lead you to 'The Path to Glory' quest. Completing this will take you to the academy where you will move onto Post-Searing. Once you get there, your character can never return to Pre-Searing. If it is your first character in GW then don't rush through Pre-Searing just so you can get henchmen to party with. Your game, at the moment, is to get use to the mechanics of the game, your character and prepare you for the main game. If you rush then you may find things more difficult when you advance into Post-Searing. Just follow the story, and complete the main quests and other quests you feel like doing. |
