Hi guys, was just farming minotaurs and a warning came up in the form of the blue tip (just under the level bar) telling me that if i keep killing monsters in the same place they will drop less and less loot, and that it would be better to play the game normally. Anyone else got this, are arenanet really nerfing farming?

No, this has been around along time. Anti-farming code, just go do a mission or a few quests and you should be fine.

You must be doing it A LOT - personally I have been farming the same place for >3 hours a day and I've never gotten the message or lower drops.

Sounds like you are boss farming outside a city.. like Skaii or somthing. The message is as old as the hills. Complete a mission like the above poster mentioned. You WILL get your drops nerfed if you keep repeating the kill too much.

Yeah, just go do a mission, or go questing, maybe some PvP, etc.
If you want to prevent that, you could farm the spot for say 30 minutes, then go farm another spot, or do one of the things mentioned above, and come back.
Rotate your crops.

The anti farmin code is older then Factions
because arenanet added it before they added Queen and nest builder in desert
I think that the code affects the team farming asswell because after I while I go with barrage team in FoW and I get the only gold which dropped, 3 shads from 6 dropped
Or I was very lucky or the code kick in for everyone else

When I first started GW 13 months ago, A friend helped me out of pre within a week and got me to Nolani. With w/mo skills I solod nolani mission repeatedly after leveling up to 20, thats the first time I got the anitfarm code. So yea this is definitely not new. To keep from getting the dreaded antifarm I jump from place to place after 2-3 runs. Ive never had to do a mission to clear the code up, but I have heard that UW or FoW clears up the code nicely.

Same here! when i first found out about troll farming it was big money for me, so i farmed it 15 times on the first day, and i still have yet to see that notice.

I only got it once from doing Nolani during Wintersday...trying to get candy canes.
