Hi, I've played Guild Wars for a long time but this is my first time posting on this site. I've been using this one build for awhile, mostly for AB or Fort Aspenwood, and it's been pretty effective for me so far. This is what it includes (It's not maxed since I haven't tried to make it that way)
Dagger Mastery: 13 (10+3)
Deadly Arts: 13 (12+1)
Shadow Arts: 9 (8+1)
Critical Strikes: 6 (2+3+1)
I use Nightstalker armor and Celestial daggers but from what I believe the most important part of a build are the skills used:
Impale
Iron Palm
Falling Spider
Horns of the Ox
Shadow Refuge
Scorpion Wire (Can be swapped for Res if not AB or Fort)
Shroud of Silence {Elite}
Siphon Speed
What the goal of this build is to allow the reuse of the combo by keeping the enemy from either running away or killing you so you can't do it again. It starts with a small knockdown spike on the enemy (1st 4 skills) then depending on the circumstances, usually while waiting for Iron Palm to recharge, this is where it's important. Since the first combo doesn't kill the target (usually) if the target chases and is too much to handle Siphon speed should be casted to keep them at a distance, if the target runs Siphon speed can also help chase them down until the combo recharges for another small spike. But the better choice is to use scorpion wire and plain run the other way, this also opens up the chance to use falling spider again without using the palm to save some time for a full spike (since the end of the combo recharges faster). Last and most importantly if either the target heals him/herself or goes for something you can't run from (degan is an example) shroud of silence should be used. The best time to use shroud of silence for me is usually before the kill spike, after casting impale and usually scorpion wire (they would run by this time) or Siphon Speed. This build can usually work on any target but the only target I had trouble against was this extreme tank in Fort Aspenwood that just stood in front of the turtles and warriors and was using dolyak signet to keep himself from being knockeddown (I don't think he was ever killed during the whole match). There is some patience in using this build but it's handy for keeping one's self alive while still being an annoyance in dmg and knockdown.
If somebody could give me some comments or feedback on this build I would appreciate it!
