Question About factions And Skills

Hey everyone,

I just bought faction and i was wondering if this link to guildwiki is really up to date with the latest patches :

It's the page that lists which skills u can obtain with quests, meaning u dont have to spend 1 platinum and one skill point to earn it. Given to this webpage, all the new skills from factions except drunken blow are unavailable trough quests.

So my question is : Do i have to buy all the new skills from a skill trainer or is there more skills gainable troughout quests that arent listed in the link i provided?

Of course, im not talking about elite skills

The only way you can get skills from factions are if you made a canthan only character. If you did that, you get all the skills from your quests and after you switch your secondary you get a few more from the quests "advanced defense" "skill chaining" etc. in the monestary.

Unfortunately, Canthan characters are screwed out of free skills - beyond Shing Jea Island the only ways to get skills are buying and caping.

Furthermore, Canthan characters will *not* be able to do any skill quests in Tyria prior to Lion's Arch. In fact, no pre-LA quests will be available, and IIRC all pre-LA missions and bonuses give 0 exp.

If money and skillpoints are a major concern, seriously consider starting Tyrian rather than Canthan.
