Double Gold Chest, Double Wierd Items

Well, I just want to see what the strangest/dumbest item you have gotten so far in this event.

So far mine would be this amber wand I picked up today. At least it has 2 mods in the same profession. If all the mods were from the same skil tree it might actually sell for a good bit. Although some smite monk may find it useful.

90% of all caster weapons are like that, 2-3 unmatching attributes, hardly anything newsworthy.

Guilded artifact (gold)
+12 energy (8 fast casting)
+5 armor
-5 energy

by twice as rare, i can't believe it actually makes more wands and staffs drop..... this event is trash... sorry anet

also nothing special, sure it's crap because it only has one mod but it's a common mod, you get +5 armor and lose 5 energy it's ONE mod just as +5 armor (while enchanted) is.

Gah.... please shut up, not more caster stuff is dropping than usual, it's random.

i had a gold storm artifact that req 8 water magic, had some other mod on it that req smiting 9 and another mod on it that needed inspiration 12. i was like wtf.

Didn't you guys ever find any gold items before?

The stats stink, yell at me, scream at me, flame me, do whatever, they stink. We know it, you know it. Case closed. If you want to be a GW cheerleader fine with me.

No they don't - the item stink because it only has one mod, if it had one more it would be ok.

I have actually been getting pretty good stuff. A couple Bramble bows a few platniums and staffs.

That's the oddest one for me. More annoying than these, however, are the gold caster items with mods you can find on purples, or crap like air magic +1 shields.

I'm actually loving the event so far. If you go with a team, it makes the event so much more fun.

I can't complain so far, but i'm still slightly frustrated because everything i found so far was allways SLIGHTLY off from being a "perfect" sell. But the one item made me stare at the monitor for 5 minutes with the decision to just fricking salvage it out of anger.

One small number made it from a high class trade into a newbie scam. Gnarr!

Quite ironically i found an almost identical blade. Also with +14% but with crippling duration instead of sundering.

I got a nice jade longbow. From a Kurzick chest though..

Uhm ... Amity ... that Oni Blade *IS* a great sell. The 14% damage is paltry when compared to the fact that its 14% All The Time and that is has a 20/20 sundering mod on it (and that its an oni blade).

Sure, you won't be able to sell it for 100k+ecto, but I could easily see it go for 20k+

For the love of all that is good, don't salvage that!

I've yet to find a rare item this weekend. Ahh well, maybe my luck will change tomorrow.
