Prophecies missions had a bonus objective, factions had a time limit for a master's reward. I wonder if Nightfall will come up with something new or reuse either of the above?
I thought a "Flawless" completion would be a neat idea. Just like in PvP, you'd get a flawless mission if nobody on your team died. Or maybe completing a mission with a 75% or less of max party size? 6-man missions with 4 people and 8-man with 6.
What would you like to see as bonus objectives in Nightfall?
"Bonus" in nightfall?

I'd like to see it where you enter the mission as "Normal" or "Bonus". By going in on a "Bonus" perhaps there could be a change in objectives, few extra enemies per mob, extra bosses, you start at 10% DP for the whole party... something like that.
... and actually make it something hard...

i hope it will be similar to prophesies, a story within a story, a subplot within the plot ... much more entertaining than rushing a mission as is the case in factions.

I believe Nightfall will be more similar to Prophecies in PvE. So I think they should do the bonus objective again. I didn't like the Master's idea of Factions missions nor do I think they need to have a different "bonus" idea for each campaign.

I had an idea that instead of a true 'extra' objective (like a side quest or time trial), to have multiple ways of completing each mission.
I posted this idea on another forum, so I'm just going to quote myself to save time:
For example, let's say there is a mission to assault a fortress that the 'dark god' has created for his army. At the mission outpost, the avatars of the gods are there to aid in the mission. The Champion of Balthazar is going to attack head on at the front gate. Electing to go with him is one 'mission path'. On the other hand, Lyssa's Muse wants to create a diversion to draw enemy forces away from Balthazar's assault. This would be another 'mission path'. Completing one path is sufficient to get past a mission, completing all paths is required to get "Master Reward" or whatever you want to call it. It would all be done on the same mission map, but the objectives for victory change based on which route you decided to pick. Note: I'm not suggesting multi-team missions like Vizunah Square. Just multiple paths for your team to opt for.
Perhaps completing all of one god's 'paths' would also gain you favor with that god, giving its own type of reward. Statues of that particular god in explorable areas could always be active for you. Completing all of Balthazar's paths might let you gain access to the Fissure whenever you wanted, instead of when the server had favor. Maybe there could be titles like "Balthazar's Champion", "Grenth's Voice", etc.

Plain old bonus works for me.

Bonuses were never broken, and I liked them in Prophecies.

I liked the bonuses in Prophecies the best. But if they have to do something different (and this is Anet, they are all about doing things differently) I would like to see a difficulty difference. Either by choosing your difficulty before entering, or by choosing a path that is harder/easier and being rewarded accordingly.
