Crystallines - question

I know that crystallines can be obtained from hall of heroes and some chests in fow..but it confuses me when i come to town and every 1 is selling them..

There must be easier way to obtain these so many people have them...

what do you think,...how can every 1 have crystalines when they r so rare

the drop rate increased on EVERY item, ive seen more "proper" rare items come up for sell in the last month then i have in the year or so ive been playing this game

a year ago maybe 1 crystalline come up for sell every couple weeks and this was normaly 1 of 5 which was passed around from person to person now days its nearly every day someone is asking for a pc on a 15% w/e serpant or dwarvern

People having more money to spend (hence PCs) as well as the increased speed of the hall chest drop could have a little to do with that as well.

yep, the proper rare items (serpant/dwarvern/crystalline) are slowly decreasing in value and status.

Only the rich will complain about this tho, the avergae player will see it as their chance to grab a nice weapon for a cheap price.

Most of the Crystallines I have seen up for sale in lions arch and droks lately have been junk. They might have increased the drop rate, but from what I have seen they are mostly purple and not worth more than 100k, and that only because of the skin.

^Thus making them rare.

The demand for them are high, supply is low, most people prefere to buy the ones with the better stats, so that just leaves the crappy ones in Lion's Arch.

yea you have a point most have poor inherants mods or no mods whats so ever..still its an easy 100k or so

Crystallines can be found from keyless chests AND mobs. However, it's still quite rare to find one from an actual mob, isntead of one of the FoW/HoH chests.

they dont frop from mobs

there was a rumor floating around once that they droped in the desert but that was just a rumor as far as im concerned

I've seen them drop from mobs (southern shiverpeaks), since the update making all chests require keys.

until you can provide hard evidence nobody will believe you

this basicly means someone well known on guru being with you when it drops

You can get crystallines in sorrow's furnace too

It's better thet they return the droprate to normal and improve status on them.

crystalline in sorrows furnace o.o? never heard of it be4... any quest reward chests down there??

well, i just did the normal green farming runs there, but as far as i am informed the killroy quest has an unlocked chest

In my opinion, crystallines have gone up. I used to be able to grab em for oh say, 40k with max damage, req 10 ish, and a damage mod, and have trouble actually reselling it.

Not the case anymore my friends. Req 11 purples with no damage mod will go for a good 150k with the same amount of effort as the above.
