PC Gamer Exclusive GWars Mini Pet?

I think your forgetting nightfall units mini pets will be extended with NIghtfall

Well since the "November" issue will apparently be coming out in September, and Nightfall won't be out then, I don't see why the special mini-pet couldn't be something from Factions. I mean, an Oni is the coolest thing on the planet, I've heard people talk about wanting an Oni minipet, I myself have talked about wanting an Oni minipet, and even the Oni want us all to have Oni minipets.

I want an "official" a-net statement on this, seams like a "buy our magasin" scam to me.

I do know that they have done things with WoW minis before so ya never know.

I would think it would be a great idea for publicity for both organizations if they did do something like this. More magazine sales to non-subscribers and perhaps interest in the game for the magazine subscriber base that doesn't currently play GWars.

Sad thing is, i'd go buy the issue if it came with a cardboard cutout (if i didn't have a subscription that is.)

Or, a coupon you can fill out to send away for a die cast mini of whatever. Like you used to/can do with cereal. The mag never said it was an ingame mini, did they?

Disclaimer: This "mini-pet" is not an ingame item. Rather, it is a theoretical entity that does not actually exist, which technically is the same as all that crap you pay many thousands of gold that similarly does not actually exist for. However, many poor saps will now buy our magazine. Muah hah hah.

The date on a magazine refers to when its supposed to stop being on sale. Lets the newstand know that if its October, there should be no October magazines on the stand. So the October issue is the one avaliable in September. And subscribers will be getting that even earlier, so some time in the next week or two.

I have 4 mini pets and I never even tried any of them once, I guess I should sell rurik before he loses his value.

It could be possible that it's a worldwide PC Gamer thing, and be featured in every issue across the world on the disk that usually comes with it.

Also, as said earlier, it's probably best to look out on GuildWars.com for an offical statement, as they usually say something about a feature in a magazine.

It won't be on the disk. It'll be a key you enter into your account. Unless, of course, it's in a text file on the disk.

could you imagine if it was on the magainze how many people would try to rip it out of the magazine. ((remebers back to the half life 1 craze for counter-strike and stealing cd keys from retail stores.))
