That might be pretty funny. I could picture a mini-Vede following me around making rude noises.

Couple points:

a) Does it mention anywhere if this is just for subscribers, or can anyone bebop on down to thier local book merchant and grab one?

2) If it's the latter option in the former point, it most likely will be on a separate card, so everyone who does take advantage of this would do well to make sure the plastic bag/ wrapper thingy hasn't been tampered with!

Also, would the code, if it is a code, be generic or specific for each issue? If generic, then someone will post it and we'll all get it.

This is how the US gets something to make up for the Coke promo items other countries got.

Also something to note, many magazines that have offered something 'special' in a game have all used the same access key (per game that is) to obtain it.

It is a unique pet, every magazine will have its' own code, and it will be in the US version of PC Gamer, both the subscriber and newsstand magazines.

Did I fall asleep for a month? Last I knew it was the middle of August. I could understand getting the September issue a bit early, but October? At any rate, I might want to pick one of these up. Can we expect the November issue to hit newstands in mid-September then?
