Weekly Wallpaper Wednesdays?

This probably isn't the best time to ask this question since Gaile is on vacation, but I'll ask anyways.

What has happened to the "Weekly Wallpaper Wednesdays?" The last wallpaper posted was on July 12th (the Dragon Festival) and before that was on June 14th.

I know this may not be a big deal, but it is something I always look forward too. They have such a huge amount of stunning concept art and the game itself if one of the most artistically beautiful on the market, it is nice to have some of it displayed as a desktop. And with Nightfall just around the corner, I'm getting excited to see some of the new stuff in wallpaper form.

I'd like to know aswell... about 50% of those wallpapers have been my desktop over the few months... they look brilliant. And we want more! Pretty please?

only one person, other than myself, misses these wonderful gems comming out every week? Another wednesday has come and gone, and still no new wallpaper.

Please dont take this as complaining, but more as encouragement to continue to create these wonderful wallpapers. I only hope that more people agree that these are a worth while thing to spend time to create and release.

Since Gaile and the rest of the Anet crew are back from their big trip, and another Wednesday has gone by with no new wallpaper, I thought I'd bring this back to the top.

I too miss the wallpapers. Most of them were really good. Start making them again please arena net!

It is Wednesday yet again, here is to hoping for a new wallpaper today.

Awww, its 3:00 (my time) and nothing....usually if they add something like this, then it is out by now. Guess we get to wait untill next week.....

Sadly, this thread looks to be working against me. Since there has been little response, it may be showing ArenaNet that there just isn't much demand for these little gems.

Hopefully Gaile, Andrew and/or Alex can shed some light on the subject, or at least crack the whip to get some made.

Well, its been a full month with no response and no new Wallpaper. There is still plenty of time for one to go up today. This may be my last bump. No response from ArenaNet and very few forum members seems to show that there is little interest wallpapers.

This is the first time I have sen this thread.
I love the wallpaper and always have one on my desktop. The bone dragon under the moon is my fav. I am sure there will be some after the cinematic for Nightfall is released.

Yea, I like the wallpapers too. (Have used and are using many of the wallpapers) And would like to see new ones as well. They may come out with new ones for nightfall. (At least I hope.)

they were kinda nice, I just take screen shots of the game and use that as my desktop everynow and then. With the content in GW, there could be some really nice desktops, I guess theres no department for desktops lol.
