Reseting my guildwars password...help please!

im a forgetfull person...and i forgotton my password...i clicked reset pass word....and i typed my email adress in...and i clicked submit...it sent me no email with my new pass...so i clicked next...it sed 'make changes to ur pass plaync.com...and thats not helped...im ina pickle can anyone help? id apreciate it

the first response is an auto respond.
answer this immediately with *this did not solve the problem* to prevent the ticket from being auto closed.
this will get you to a tech who will ask for proof it is your account such as key, receipt, etc before they will do anything.
after proving you are the real account owner they will take care of it

I have also had problems the last few days with "passwd reset".
I didn't have any problems a few months ago resetting my password on my older GW edition I purchased, which I had purchased a year ago.
This is obviously a technical issue.
Now, I just recently purchased Guild Wars "Game Of The Year Edition" (in Canada)and now I can't reset my password for the new account I have.
anyone know why ?
-tech response from GW is sloooow as usual with the same automated blah, blah blah.
Its absolutely and criminally riduculous for anyone to have to provide any purchase receipts for GW especially if they bought it over a year ago.
They know darn well it was purchased CD key <-> database in whatever store you have bought it in.
just buy another one ?! is that it ?

why should you prove you didnt hack the account and want a reset password.
