first of all, please dont say its another of these noob threads

i play gw since 14 months, got big experince in pve, farmed everywhere, made hundred uw/fow runs

and since a few month, i prefer farming southern shiverpeaks,

as far as i know,gold dwarven axes, drop in hoh

when i think back, in my 14 month i got one not max dmg. dwarven dropped out of the strongbox,...there must be 100 of these topics, but could find some informations about it(when i use search function, there is that white/blue dog, and it seems like the side stucks, i waited about 10 mins and nothing happened :S)

u got/saw/heard of dwarven axes, which did not came out of hoh/dd?

dropping from mobs, locked chests, uw/fow cheasts, or even at the dwarvenmobs in the shiverpeaks?

one of my m8 told me about dwarven axes in sf, is that possible?

coz as i said, i farmed and farmed and farmed shiverpeaks, not 1 drop, neither in fow/uw...

u got any informations?

dwarven axes only drop from quest chests, i saw someone get one in FoW the other day, it was purple, the only way u get a gold dwarven axe is from HoH - its only chests, no monsters in the game drop this item

Correct, the Lost Strongbox dropped them too, then anet took it out. I got a max dmg req 9 Drawven Axe out of that box. <3

i had one drop from a chest in the southern shiverpeaks, but i think that was before the chests became key-chests, as it was a "simple" white one.

Yeah Anet removed the Dreadnought stronbox when ppl became to make more trips there.

yea, damn shame i only discovered how to get to the strongbox 3 days before it was removed. still got a gold max crys req 12 from it though ... but it id'ed without a dmg mod lol oh well.

I got a 14% hexed dwarven r11 from the lost strongbox while I was doing a run to show a friend how to do it O.o

Dwarven axes drop from any unlocked chest, and EXTREMLY rarely from dwarves.

I got mine from a dwarf, when it was glitched and when they died they could drop loot.

Yeah, I vaguely remember talk of that happening. A friend of a guildie found one in drednoughts drift (not from chest I think) so me and my guild set out on an epic quest to find them lol. I ran them to drednoughts drift once there we thought to the summit then got owned and died. End of that adventure. Im not sure if the person who orignally told the guildie that they were nerfed or something.

I used to run those all day, but no rares for me.

It's happened to me and another friend of mine.

I'll see if any drop when I cap FoC there tomorrow.

hmm are Dwarven just as Rare as Crystaline ore even more Rare?
cause i have seen a Crystalline drop only once in FoW reward chests but never ever sen Dwarven drop anywhere..
