Hi everyone. I did check the list of ideas, and i didn't see either of these, but i might have missed it. If either of these have been posted before, plz disregard them.
Annotated Map
My idea is to have an ability to annotate your own map. This is mostly off the game "Baldur's Gate II:Shadows of Amn", where you can place your own markers on your maps with tags saying whatever you want. Applying this idea to Guild Wars would dramatically help players remember where certain things are, keep track of quests, things like that. It probably wouldn't require much programming, since all you're doing is adding a marker with a text tag on it. In any case, on to my next idea:
Tab-Targeting
This idea is simple: As it currently stands, using the tab key to target just selects the next enemy (in the field) or random player (in town). My idea is to make it such that if you hold down, for instance, the shift key and push the tab key, it only cycles between targets within your aggro circle. This would make targeting a lot easier. Instead of having to use the "C" button to target the next closest enemy, a player could cycle between enemies that are actually within his/her range, rather than every enemy on the radar screen. This could also be expanded to the spell-casting radius instead of the aggro circle, since that would help the various caster classes. There could also be an option on the controls log as to how far the radius is, or something like that.
Well, that's all i've been able to come up with. From what i understand, these suggestion forums are patrolled by ArenaNet employees looking for suggestions. Hopefully someone will notice this post. Thanks for the time guys!

Tab-Targeting is not really needed. People are fine with just "C" "tab"
you can backwards tab too.

personally, i would rather cycle through a list of possible enemies to attack. This'd be great for interrupters in pvp as well, since you could cycle through all the enemies around you, and see what they're casting.

at the moment, you can download an offline version of what you suggested for map marking, it's only been done for prophecies though... and again, it's offline. It's somewhere on the forums...
Tab-Targetting is a minor fix, and anything minor is something Anet seems to take alot of interest in, I don't see why there would be a problem in having this, it's not too intrusive to current play-style and it would only improve it, or you would simply not use it.

my idea is to limit the targets to those within spellcasting range, so you can cycle between a list of available targets, rather than every target in the entire area...
