Chests in Divine Path?

One week ago i ended factions with my 4th char - travelled all through divine path to emperor kisu (wanted to see him dance °_° ) and with surprise discovered that there was a chest! a canthan chest just near the emperor.

I had no keys to use, and didnt bothered to try to kill shiro again ( i've NEVER seen any chest in DP while ending the game with my 3 other chars) - Until yesterday, i noticed a "LFP To farm divine path chests" in imperial sanctum.

What are those chests? just normal kaineg area chests (if so why bother to farm em?) or something...special?

Someone told me about the chest by the emperor and I said that there are no chests inside there. Well we went in and sure enough there was one. It only had a purple though so nothing special.

It's random like all chests are. A guildie said it was there each time on four characters he beat Shiro with. I've brought 9 different characters through there and never seen it yet.

sometimes they spawn and sometimes they don't, i have killed him many times and have had it both way, the chest can be gold, i have gotten gold, but most of the time their purp chest.

Actually there is a trick to these chest(s). I have found that the faster you kill Shiro the more chests there are. I am not entirely sure what the cutoff is....but I know that if it takes a while to kill him then the chest will not spawn. If you get Masters a chest will almost always spawn. I have never seen more than 2 chests. You can get some nice items from them sometimes. I have even seen Golden Phoenix Blades drop from them even though it is a Canthan chest. Very strange. Anyways.....

This doesn’t apply to chests but yesterday I killed Shiro with a group and a ranger and a warrior started aggoring all the phoenix’s and then killed them one dropped a gold Aegis ????? Really pissed off the other ranger in the group who was trying to get a phoenix. But I have never seen a drop of gold from a pet. (I saw no chests)

try out the raisu exit there's around 10 chests you can farm.. pretty fast run really- you don't even need a pug but it seems to help in getting gold chests over purple.. usually just get a cr group and then run and leave em if the first chest is gold- farm all the chests solo or with another warrior who knows the route.. the weekend event was crazy loot there

Yep, every time I've taken my ritualist through there (5 times, to collect her 15k armor) I've seen a chest- sometimes Canthan, sometimes Forbidden. Most of the time it was gold but I've also gotten purples out of it.

Nine Masters Rewards, zero chests.
