mean,hard headed, and annoyinh people in explorable areas and missions

dont you just hate people that are mean, annoying, and just wont listen in exploreable areas? if u dont then your waisting your time reading this post. i came up with a a idea that guild wars should make a voting system in the game were you can vote some one out. they said that i should post it in a forum so i came to one of the best ones.those of you that would like to see this happen have to talk about it in forums or in game play, and hopefully we well get this to happen.if you have any ideas on a better way to get this to happen just say. and remember spread the word about this if you want it to happen.

Could def vote to kick them and then have them replaced with an NPC henchie.

This is one of the oldest requested game changes out there, it's in the wrong forum, and the "kick" mechanic would be heavily abused, as has been previously been discussed in the original thread, which is in the correct forum.

Hey man! These are pugs you are talking about. Pugs are desperate to get the quest or mission done. After all, their guildies didn't help them, right?!
When you are the only monk, warrior, barrager, or minionmaster, no way in hell they will vote you out. They will put you on ignore, and than hope that doesn't offend you so much that you quit on them

I don't see how the kick mechanic can be abused, unless the 7 other people in your group agree that you are indeed an asshole, then they must be correct.

Example:

Person A gets amazing drop.
Person A gets vote-kicked so the other players can fight over the drop.



Another Example:

Guild members form a group to do some relatively challenging mission and invite a few PUGers along. Near the end, they demand money from the PUGers or they will be vote-kicked and never finish the mission.

That would be griefing. Take a screenshot and report it.

also i forgot to add that you guys should say any ways to make it better and more fair like the group must state the reason why they are kicking the person out of the group and also the leader of the group can be the only one to start the voting

I'm not saying it's acceptable at all. This is just the kind of crap that would happen with a vote-kick system, and it would happen way to much for ArenaNet to do anything about except remove it again.



Neither of those ideas would really help anything, and like I already said this topic has already been beaten to death.

What kind of nonsense is this "could be abused!"?

Amount of griefing now > Amount of griefing due to Votekick.
It is as simple as that. A-Net will have to deal with quite a few reports less than before. Besides the "but they could votekick to get your item!". Nonsense again. All A-net would have to do to prevent that is to simply remove the item from the instance it dropped in and give it to the player that was kicked.

Afraid they can't do that - simple reason of death chests.
If you unlock a chest and die before picking item up (or kill a monster and die before picking it up) there should NOT be an automatic mechanism of you getting the item anyway.

It's tough but that's the game - it's happened to me before.
I'm glad they extended the timeout to 10 mins to discourage "drop stealing" for anyone who unfortuntealy dies in the process of chest opening..... but thems the perils of chest running....

Kick voting shouldn't allow any drops to be given to you when kicked. If "warping and get drop" happens - it's open for abuse.

When "Xperson" gets kicked, their assigned item drops are warped with them.

well i dont see that happening unless it's PuGer, because if the guild group brings multiple PuGers chances are the PuGers will not vote each other off

The guild group would bring whatever the minimum number of votes is needed for a vote-kick.

Also, meanness, hard-headedness and the quality of being annoying are entirely subjective traits. I also think that the perceived quality of these traits will vary greatly based upon one's willingness to do whatever the OP wants. Granted, there are idiots out there. If you run into one, start over, boot them, and try again.
