Can I get to the Ring of Fire ???
Xxalon Tacotu
Hope someone can help me with this.
I have a Canthan-born Necro, who has gone through Weh No Su in Cantha.
I have now brought him over to Tyria, and I want some skills from Dakk at Ember Light Camp.
However. Do I have to put my Necro through ascension before I can get to the Ring of Fire, like a Tyrian character, or does Weh No Su count instead of ascension.
It will save me from doing the whole desert (again), as the intention is to run from Beacons to Drok's, then through to mission for Ring of Fire, if I can do this.
Thanks.

You can only get to the Fire Islands buy doing Thunderhead Keep mission which will firstly take you to Ember Light Camp. You don't need to be ascended the Tyrian way I don't think, not if you're getting run to Droknar's Forge and skipping the desert.

From Lion's Arch, get to Beacon's Perch. Get a run to Droknar's Forge. Get to Thunderhead Keep (either by running there or doing the Ice Cave and Iron Mines missions), do THK mission and you're there.

You should get infused before THK, makes it alot esier

Thanks. I was hoping that that would be the answer.
Just THK to beat then

The only thing visible will be the words "Infused" in your armour's description. I've infused my 15k Cantha and FoW armours. Infusion will not destroy your armour.
P.S. Infusion will occur on the armour you are wearing at the time. If you have 2 sets of armour, you will need to do the infusion twice.

Each piece individually will list "Infused" as a property so if you use various "hats" then get each infused or only use infused armor pieces when facing mursaat.

Yes, all the armor you have equipped at the time gets infused.

Bah! This thread reminded me of all the Canthan armor I've never infused...We all used to be so responsible with getting things infused right away

There is also a seer in Mineral Springs and the fire islands missions that you can use for infusing alternate pieces you may have with you.

Just a note about infusion: you can be infused on the ring of fire missions, however it is easier to do it before you get there^^

Well if you have a spare change, I see a lot of players advertising "Running to infusion invite self" that should save you a great deal amount of time versus what I did, went with hench with no clue of what I was doing, result failure. Second, I went with the group who didn't tell me that it was a Barrage capture run so that didn't go well. So, though I know my guidies were busy, I went ahead and asked them to help me with the infusion quest. Took us 10 minutes and I got infused. LOL
lesson learned asked guildy first.
