I think I understand this craziness so here is my attempt to simplify it for all of the community who aren't fluent in Ye Olde Pirate Speak.
Here goes:
Stop my friends! (ya, avast means 'stop', or 'desist'. Brush up on your pirate lingo, OP)
For all you alcoholic, sword-fighting adventurers on the islands surrounding Tyria and Cantha, there is an alcohol-themed social event taking place in Shing Jea Monestary district 5 which has been aptly dubbed "Your Old Pirate's Nest".
There will be ale available in exchange for Monestary Credits, drinking, pirates and people who prefer land alike who will share stories about adventures, bar brawls, phat lewt, and drinking.
If you are a man or woman who enjoys sea travel, you are adventurous, and willing to attend the social gathering described above, hoist the sails of your metaphorical pirate ship and "sail" to SJM district 5 in the late ours of European time to hook up with many people who have similar interests as you.
Captain Pieke Potloed and Buccaneer Slapped Yak truly hope that this maginificent event will attract a wide variety of people form all across both game continents. Then, they will all become incredibly drunk. Feel free to keep the party alive even if we leave to go pillage some Tengu villages, because we love fun, and there's nothing more fun than returning back to the party to get even more drunk.
