Using a port other than 6112

Is there a way to configure GW so it will use a port other than 6112? I've checked the list of switches in community resources and there's a -port switch but it says no one knows how it works.

someone posted that when they did a reinstall and used the client on the GW site instead of the cd client and downloaded the game it was a different port and many problems they had were gone.

not sure which port it was but maybe something like 80 or 800 or whatever
