Graphics Problem...

I've been playing on this laptop for about 8 months and haven't had any problems until this graphic problem...

Just started recently and haven't installed anything new.

Basically its just a bunch of horizontal/vertical lines of purple or green color... and it keeps moving during game play... blocking out most of the screen. (minimizing and maximizing doesn't help)

Has anyone else experienced this? any help is useful

P.S. as i am typing this... there are still vertical purple lines on my screen...

Is your laptop a Dell?

Seriously, because that may be the problem. I get a similar issue in which turqoise lines appear across the entire screen out-of-game, and in-game there are a bunch of blue mis-colored textures. That's on the lowest settings. On the highest settings, there are red squares and gridlines moving all over the place. I have a Dell desktop PC right now, and as it turns out, there were some issues about graphics on a certain batch of them.

Laptops may have the same problem...

Also, to help with that in-game, put the game on the lowest settings possible. It should go to some miscolored textures which is MUCH better than what you're experiencing. And if that doesn't help...talk to someone from whatever company manufactured it.

EDIT: Oh, and update your video card drivers too. That's what got me from a bunch of gridlines and graphics drop-outs on lowest settings to just some miscoloration.
