Geoffer = Zero drops

Well I'm trying to farm Geoffer, but the problem is everytime I kill him and I get absolutely nothing. It's as if the game is assigning all of his drops to the Naga...

I'm not experiencing the farming Code, I've been doing missions all day and just started trying to farm Geoffer, however this is the fifth kill and still nothing at all. No coins, no scrolls no nothing. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Help him kill off the Naga first.

Then you'll be at the same stage I am where he drops me a jade wand and a bone charm every friggin time.

That being said, 5 kills is probably not going to guarantee he drops the Bulwark for you. Elsewhere in the forum you can read about people killing a boss 20+ times and still not get the green drop.

Ok let me make this a little more clear...

He isn't dropping ANYTHING, that means no jade wand or bone charm or anything at all. And I have been helping him kill the Naga, that is the only way he stays alive... I have tried waiting for him to full heal then aggro him, and I have tried killing him right after the Naga have died, he still drops nothing.

By nothing I mean NOTHING, no coins, no crappy white items to sell to merchant, NOTHING.

hmm... well, I'm sure you're not taking henchies... are the monsters that you kill that are around him dropping anything?

Well sometimes after the dust settles it's him and a ritualist left standing, and when I kill the ritualist it usually drops a bone charm or something, but still nothing at all from Geoffer, and no of course I'm not taking henches.

Considering none of us are the programmers or have a particular insight into the drop code inner functions, i'd hazard a guess that you are just in an unlucky slump. Sorry. You could light a candle or something... :P

Welcome to the fun (not) of farming. Rajazan's Fever, Ghial's Staff, The Stonereaper. I farm these off and on and I also get what you get. XP points and no more. You just have to keep going back again, and again, and again, and ... well you get the idea.

That's why i hated SF! I got a green axe on my first go. It looks like a sephis axe, i think.

Well I'll keep trying and see, but I know that there are situations where NPC's fight that you will never get drops because the game will never assign them to you or your party, to clarify does anyone know what the conditions are for this?

Once hes the only one left after helping him kill off the others, run away, let him fully regen then the drops 90% of the time will drop for you. At least thats what i do, seems to work, yet no shield after 10-15 runs.
