Still can't connect to arenanet

Im having the age old "Stuck at 0%, no error message" problem.

please dont ask me to disable firewalls or disable anything for that matter. Ive tried whilst running bugger all except essential drivers (not safe mode, Im aware GW doesnt work in safe mode).
GW support cant help me, then eventually told me to contact my ISP, who were naturally useless and want me to phone their £3000 per hour help line.
Also, the problem has nothing to do with my router or port forwarding.(Ive tried bypassing the router, still no luck).
Im on NTL, my mate who is also on NTL is having the same problem.

Any input would be great

Sounds like an issue with NTL, have you tired e-mailing NTL support and asking if they are blocking the ports which Guild Wars uses?

A.net rightly told you to speak to your ISP.

And since you say its not a Firewall issue sounds like an issue is a reason of them.

I suggest to speak to NTL again.

For your information NTL need to not be blocking the following port:

Guild Wars: [SIZE=-1]TCP/UDP [/SIZE]Port: 6112

Same problem occured there with me. Can't log on (no error msg). Jsut says at 0%.

my guild/ alliance are having same prob, we are logged in, but D/C from Friends list. and cant connect :\ but can speak in chat

Im having problems too... atm using the backup gw.dat file and downloading updates (since that particular backup) at an unbelivable low speed...

its working 4 me now! and me guild/alliance

seems ANet is having issues..my entire alliance has problems.. so ppl just sit tight and w8

are you using a router?? try to connect the pc rightly into your modem if possible and then start GW

I had this problem yesterday.

Wanna know what was the solution? Reboot. Worked like a dream after rebooting.
