Sorry no there isn't you need Sheild of Judgement in Mineral Springs and I am not sure if Protective Spirit is in Cantha and that includes Balthazars Spirit.You can use the asthetic armour in Kaineg Centre but I am not sure if Prophecies tats are better you will have to make the long journey to Tyria.

Also the item to actually make you 55 is only available in Tyria as far as I know.

he doesnt paricularly need the FFS i had 1 and found that i like the totem axe (a factions axe) better cus the +5 e and the enchantes last 20 % longer

Totem axes are Tyrian, dropped in the maguuma jungle.

I think that hes more likely to find a Totem than an FFS for sale somewhere, so he may as well shoot for that. Hell I have one for sale.

But you can UW farm with SB and thats factions

Prot Spirit Mending Blessed Signet Breeze Spell Breaker Retrobution Factions Skills~ Spirit Bond You are missing~ Balth Spirit or essence bond Blessed aura SoJ In other words....You can make a 55 monk that has no energy or dmg....Unless you can find a way arround missing Balth spirit or essence bond You can do dmg with a spirit bond monk using retrobution...however you will still lack e-management.

You can but you will need spell breaker and if you want riposte.you will need an ss/sv Necro with you as well to do the damage with ss.you use to be able to solo the UW but not anymore.I still suggest you read the stickie Monk farming builds.

You can solo the UW...It is just much easier and faster to 2-man it, and you usually come out with more loot anyway. | anyway - You cant 55 with just Factions because Balt Spirit is chapter 1 only, even the less effective Essence Bond is chapter 1 only lol. Even Bonetti's defense is Chapter 1 >_<

55 is just plain out due to the enerrgy restraints and not having essence bond/balths spirit. primary class isnt the only way to deal damage... one could go to secondary for silver armor or VwK for example, less efficient but doable.
SB/ps probably out as well for the same energy reason, but at least you could have the skills and try it much less expensively. In almost every case, solo farming builds are hybrids of all the best skills in factions and prophesies. People with access to these will have an advantage. This isn't going to change because the folks at Anet like butter on their bread. Yeah, there are and will be single chapter solo farm builds, but I think the best of those will always be the prophecies only ones... at least until chapter 3 and the Dervish. |
