When I bought Factions, I began playing through the campaign as my Nec (since I had started with a Rit...and it was way too tedious). I ended up being one of the first Necros with 15k Canthan Armor. And I managed to sell the Green Ceremonial Daggers for a whopping 80k.
Will you take a Prophecies/Factions character first through the campaign, or will you just make a Paragon/Dervish and kill everything?
Will you play a Prophecies/Factions or Nightfall character first through Nightfall?

I'll be playing through Nightfall with my Tyrian Monk first. A monk can find a group easiest, so I can get it done fast, and also with all these people that are gonna be runnin around every which-way trying to figure out how to do stuff, I don't trust many people other than myself to take on the responsibility of keeping them alive.
After that, or prolly around the same time, I'll start up a Dervish and play through on that. I just made an elementalist so, though it's Tyrian because I like a certain Tyrian face/hair set, I made it for playing in Nightfall. I'm also going to make a Necromancer for Nightfall, because I saw a really awesome face/hair set during those few hours when we could see some of the Nightfall faces, and a Paragon eventually after that.
Once I've played through, or mostly through, on those chars I'll eventually get around to playing through on my warrior and ranger for the elites, but what with all these char slots, I don't know how much time I'll have for them. My Assassin and Ritualist will prolly hang back in Factions unless there is something easy to farm with the Rit or somethin. I'll prolly play through with them after Nightfall has been out for like 5 months and I'm bored.
That about covers it.

I took my tyrian ranger and rit thorugh Factions at the same time for a bit, then just continued on with my rit. I just wanted my ranger to have canthan "things". I may do the same with Nightfall, see which i like better dervish or paragon, start it up, then go back and take my existing chars there as well. Stop for a bit and finish on with my Nightfall char
Same thing as I did with Factions, my only two Tyrian characters will go through it first. They're also the only two who have finished Factions.
All my other characters are just for fun, if I beat the game with them ever...then cool, go me! Otherwise, they'll just get to wherever and then stop and I'll never play them again.

I was all gung-ho about makeing one for pve knowing they are likely to be widely wanted as a tank/aoe nuker combo, with infinite possibilities to individually farm.
But right now it all depends on how they turn out.
Im also interested in Paragon because i enjoy playing a supportive role while easing my mind knowing im doing some damage to at least help the team in as many ways as i can.
But correct me if im wrong:
I believe you cannot bring Factions characters into the Nightfall campaign, as during the pvp beta weekend, if you chose a Ritualist or Assassin, you could not choose them to be of Elona heritage, only Tyrian or Canthan. Unlike the 6 core classes which allowed the choice of all 3

ACtually, this remind me that i never even finished the Tyrian campaign lol. I made it to Abaddon's Mouth..to the end...like right before the cut-scene and e7ed out. I was pissed, needless to say. and couldnt find a group afterwardsso i havent tried since

I'm finding that it is tedious to take every character through. (I currently have five.)
I believe I'll create a Dervish and take her through nightfall, but if do take a tyrian through it will be my ranger. She is my original character and just seems right to be the one to take through any new chapter.

I was thinking of this a day or two ago. I think i'm going to do the same thing I did last time. I'm creating either Dervish or Paragon and beat the game with it so I get to know more about the storyline and missions. Then I'm going to take my Warrior (my main character) there and beat the game with it trying to explore and do the bonuses on the way to get the titles easier now that I know them.
